I take heed of what I’m too scared to admit,
Keep stepping on,
Sometimes you just take the lead and head on into the darkest abyss.
Focus hard on what it is that you miss,
Make time for yourself,
Sometimes you’ve gotta remind yourself that you exist.
Take heed of what you transmit,
Cantankerous,
Cancerous,
Make haste for what you need before you’re bleeding on the cement.

Wean myself off the future because I was just feeling anxious,
Couldn’t sleep on the truth,
I’ve been feeling so cantankerous lately.

Life is short but you shouldn’t live it in a rush,
Dancing with the devil will only bring less pious views.
I wasn’t just washed up on the shore,
I was thought of in the heat of parental lust,
Hands take from whatever makes up my mental,
My very thoughts rusted into these words that I penned you.

How many words have left my mouth not hushed?
Few.
Try not to get used to getting spoken to,
My thoughts bled and gushed absent of a crowd,
At least they tend to.
