Retirement Day
Retirement after all these years, time has really flown by
My alarm is also retiring, no need to ask why
First thing on my agenda is a holiday to an exotic place far away
A change to relax and unwind for a number of days
Reflecting back on my career, which was filled with many ups and downs
My chair as already been filled , has my replacement has already been found
Leaving my office for the last time I stopped to talk to my colleagues and say goodbye
Making it to the door I am ready to start a new phase of my life , I start to cry
The place was such a big part of my life
Now with the abundance of time , a list of things to do will be presented by my wife
My children are waiting my arrival at home
Congratulations on your retirement dad ,your grandchildren will make sure you are never alone
