there's a start
and there's a stop
trickier to discern
in the one dimensional
I want to compare like
with like
hold something up as
'factual representation'
but I'm lost in the reflection of thin air
there are angles
of course there are angles
who doesn't love an angle
though not today
not today
it's like an echo
just your own line of sight projected back
I can study it intently
yet we are looking at
different things
convinced beyond doubt
the mirror never lies
but we are each the go between
after the longest time
I step away
because there's nothing
to see here
