The Restraints On the Freedom To Think
Do I hold my ground or am I simply tethered
Free will an illusion as I'm cornered by thoughts
Perhaps I'm abandoned, already lost to time
To be aware of the notion of ticking time
Esoterica encircles, remain tethered
Ache of belonging existing only in thoughts
To release this mind should I unravel those thoughts
The edges unfurl as vision mixes with time
Recognition of the duty to stay tethered
Tethered choices tangle thoughts time and time again
