Life, Coming Soon To Dvd
Sifting through all these photographs
I see they only show when people laugh.
Making a brief moment of happiness last
because of couse, all good things shall pass.
We don't want them to remind us of memories bad
like when we cry or become insanely mad.
Yet, when we look at these past moments
how they've came and went.
We become melancholy that they're gone
like most of the people in them are.
Gone from the moment, but not our mind
for us to relive in picture, sort of a rewind.
They we hit play, bringing us back to Earth
For life to fly by, just like Fast Forward.
