PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO LETS US HEARKEN TO THE WORD OF THE LORD
April 16 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on 1Kings 12-14
Key Verse – 1Kings 12:24 Thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren the children of Israel: return every man to his house; for this thing is from me. They hearkened therefore to the word of the LORD, and returned to depart, according to the word of the LORD.
PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO LETS US
HEARKEN TO THE WORD OF THE LORD
Praise be to God for letting us hearken to the Word of the Lord:
Asserting His counsel and comfort
Assuring His care along His compassion
Affirming His claim for our character-change
Attesting His challenge toward our consecration
Awakening us by His chastisement as well as correction
1Kings 13:9 Praise be to the Lord Who
charges us by His Word to:
Come to Him in prayer with faith
Call unto Him with our plight against foes
Cling to Him midst His perfect plan’s fervency
Cry to Him for purposive progress against fruitfulness
Cleave to Him Who prospers with His provisions our faithfulness
1Kings 14:7 Praise be to the Saviour for His exalting acts
toward those who are:
Effectively keeping His statutes
Earnestly repenting from their sins
Eagerly following Him with sincerity
Energetically sharing Gospel of salvation
Enthusiastically doing what is right by His standard. Amen!
