The Winds That Blustering Blow
The Winds That Blustering Blow
The winds that blustering blow
Leave silence by the way;
Far-off cascades of crystal snow
Have burning things to say.
The music of one memory
Stills all the battle-storm,
And in the bitter winter woods
The gray deer nestles warm.
In this Nature's wooded maze
serenity holds gentle sway;
Winter gales leave icy glaze
were woods meet lakeside bay.
As cold winds creatively blow,
Nature puts on yet another show.
