The Winds That Blustering Blow

The Winds That Blustering Blow The winds that blustering blow Leave silence by the way; Far-off cascades of crystal snow Have burning things to say. The music of one memory Stills all the battle-storm, And in the bitter winter woods The gray deer nestles warm. In this Nature's wooded maze serenity holds gentle sway; Winter gales leave icy glaze were woods meet lakeside bay. As cold winds creatively blow, Nature puts on yet another show. Robert J. Lindley, 3- 08-2016 Sonnet mixed syllable count, not in ten syllables.

Thanks mi amigo. I have always found Nature writes to be quite easy to do, as my heart resides in the deep woods. In solitude there pondering life, fate and the mysteries they hold.

That I do as it was a certain set of woods(I explored and knew when a young lad) I had in mind when writing the piece. Knew those woods like the back of my hands.
