Wild Violets
Violets are one of my favorite flowers
I haven't owned one in quite awhile
Just viewing them gives me powers
By lifting the spirits of this child
I whispered to God just a little prayer
How I would love to see Violets
Their lavender and purple smile fair
Looking out this morn saw nuggets
Front yard looked like it was covered
In an off-while looking lavender
As if it has rained or snowed
Lovely flowers_ violets africander
(some would say weeds
I say beauty)
