Morning Glow
I woke up this morning,
With the Sun glowing its rays
I leaned forward to feel
The warmth on my face.
I, sitting on the porch,
Watching nature waking
The birds come out for feeding
Seeds, worms, small insects.
The wind blows softly,
As the trees wave their leaves
Like they're saying: Good Morning
The doves in the background are cooing.
Cotton ball clouds of greys and white,
Roaming the sky above
The smell of rain permeates the air
Cardinals pluck seeds and worms.
