Near the end, is far too late to find what you have lost;
obvert your gaze to all the tiny miracles, to hear, to see, to touch;
the wind through ancient Aegean trees re-formed to herculean bonsai;
iridescent shimmering of Iris’ sunlit snow atop her goddess mountain;
calico, rough against your tender sun-kissed skin as day turns into evening.
Each thing you take the time to heed with love will be with you, always.
I revel in the falling leaves
their fluttering flight to ground
I listen to the falling leaves
hear their pitter-patter sound.
Oh see, the ruby red, the pale gold,
the omnipresent sable brown.
Look, see the shivering birch let loose...
add their colors all around.
What glory's found, as form takes flight
each transformed, re-formed, astounds,
May we detach with such serene grace
when our earthly life's unbound.
Oh, listen to the falling leaves
see them rest, upon the breast of ground.
He was a kind boy,
So sweet and true,
All the love he gave
It was just for blue.
He'd call her up,
On demand,
Her every wish,
Was his command.
Flowers and diamonds,
Was what he gave,
And as time went by,
He became her slave.
Then came the abuse,
From her spoilt mouth,
Cursed by her jealousy,
She wore him out.
But still to come,
Was the pain so deep,
When his baby didn't,
Come home to sleep.
All night he fretted,
Not wanting to think,
Of the terrible things,
That made his heart sink
.
Then came that moment
That he had feared,
She told him what,
He didn't want to hear.
And then that was it,
They came to an end,
He'd lost his lover,
He'd lost his friend.
By a re-formed individual with a lot of love to give
Pliant, pleading flesh,
Exposed, over exposed, recesses.
Sheath of wonder, pain, poise
Full of sensory joys.
Held in, held up, dis played;
Cherished birth, God gifted days.
Living, longing flesh,
Envelope of humanities rest.
Convoluted cause of distress,
Immediate source of redress.
Held in, held up, dis played;
Cherished birth, God gifted days.
Encircled, enclosed, re formed,
Vehicle of love, so, reborn.
Arise, synthesize, surprise ploys;
Full of sensations joys.
