Tribute to fallen Stars (Ras Kimono)
Stars are born, they are made
They are born to shine
Stars come and brighten our dark skies
Stars lighten mood in bad times
They bring joy to the mood in good times
Alas, another fallen Star from the sky
Such sorrow it is to say goodbye
Tears in the eyes as we say goodbye
Rest in peace Ras Kimono
Best it will be, if we see again tomorrow
In a place where there will be peace
A place where there will be no more sorrow
There can never be a Ras like Kimono
Adieu Rastafarian
Adieu Ras Kimono

I bet you remember
The birth and death
Of Jesus Christ
But tell me
Do you remember how
They crucified Rastafari
I bet you remember
The holidays and holy days
Of the pagan fiesta
But tell me
Do you remember how they
Tried to eradicate Rasta
I bet you remember
The months and days of the
Roman calendar
But tell me, do you remember
The year in which they
Were slaughtering Rasta
We’ve had many rulers:
governments and prime ministers
But do you know who
Was fighting against the existence
Of the Rastafarian followers
Your past is your history
What you don`t know is mystery
But whether baldhead or Rasta
We are all part of a larger family
The love of Jah has no division
He offers salvation to each
And everyone
But why is it that we fail
To accept each other
Tell me, what do you remember?
Do not let ignorance and shame
Hang over your shoulders
It is time to learn about the life
Of our elders
Walk with us through
The traditions
Of our forefathers
And teach us the truth about
Our culture
So that we may be able
To tell others
What we remember

I kept hearing about my inner child
So I decided I should let him out
A nasty little guy always in trouble
It's the story I will tell you about
Everywhere he went he left a big mess
It was impossible to get things done
He stayed up many hours playing games
He was only concerned with having fun
He never woke up till the crack of noon
All his laundry was left in a big pile
His hair never combed looked like a rat's nest
He said it was Rastafarian style
He went over to the wrong side of town
him and all his friends painted it all red
As much as I tried I couldn't stop him
The kid wouldn't listen to what I said
When he decided, to finally come home
I was confused and didn't know what to do
My once unblemished body now was marked
The Kid came back with a dragon Tatoo
I think I was crazy to let him out
Now that I've met him there's little to say
He is a lot more than I can handle
I have decided to lock him away
Inspired by Mandy Tams
She got me to thinking about my own inner child,
be sure to read her poem "My Inner Child"

Everybody knows that Chinese food is the most healthiest, tastiest food on the planet.
It's originally made in China. Their food is so delicious, it's like going to Beijing,
China. What I really love about Chinese food is when the Chinese Rastafarian serves a lot
of seafood, including shrimp, a lot of chicken, sushi, and beef. But what I really love
most of all is the Lo Mein noodles. The best part about being in a Chinese restaurant and
a Chinese buffet is when we're all eating Chinese food with chopsticks, especially when
we're eating some wonton soup and fried rice. Fortune cookies are the best part after a
Chinese meal, especially when he or she wants to know what his or her fortune is. And if
all Chinese restaurants and buffets were to stay open for a long time, then it's going to
be an Oriental feast for all.
