You're on top, so, you think you've got 'em,
But, you don't understand, boxing's pugilistic ways.
Then, you're dropped, you hit rock-bottom,
They say, Hey Punchy, who carries your luggage these days?
You won, cuz, you knew you were, "The One,"
Now, you've got scars, broken bones that...never really healed.
With no more, "Glory Days," in the sun,
It's December, can't remember, your fate is ever sealed!

in a world of information overload
it's refreshing to be succinct
in a few words to pass a message so punchy
that it gives one cause for a pause
in a world where time is at a premium
it's appreciated to be respected
to share what one has to say with panache
and every word striking its mark
being sold on the notion that less is more

All the Pickled produce gathered
At Branston Manor - if you please!
They entered via a staircase
Made of Jacob's Crackers and Cheese.
The Gherkin Girls and Chutney twins,
Who's names are Tom and Mango
Compete against the Beetroot Troupe
To make the taste buds Tango!
The Beetroot Troupe are not alone.
They have a wise old friend
Zingy Mr. Vinegar.
Always ready to defend.
The Silverskins call upon
The Shallots acapella choir
To pack a punchy added flavour
In a pitch that can't go higher.
The sour Grapes sulk in the corner.
They apparently should not have come.
Only Pickles were invited.
It was not open to everyone.
The Eggs got pickled with too much drink.
They thought it would be fun
To gatecrash the party
Just to confuse everyone!
It was an event to be remembered.
But alas, though sad to say
The party ended abruptly.
For they were consumed that very day!

The highlight of our week
Knock knock who’s there
A barrage of punchy one-liners
Hilarious skits to crack you up
Ruth Buzzi swinging her purse
Lily Tomlin at the switchboard
One ringy dingy…two ringy dingy
Rowan & Martin’s snide remarks
Giggles from behind doors
Goldie Hawn flashing her smile
And her infectious laughter
Unconditionally raising
Sunday night’s goofy silliness
To new lofty altitudes
Of exuberant cheerfulness
Lavishly overflowing well
Into bluesy Monday mornings

Words meant so much to him too
The punchy lyric told you what to do
It was what he wanted to say
Instead of just wasting it anyway
What bollocks, yeah man
Here was where he made his stand
The solitary one in his plan
Too far now from where it began
Opening his old wounds
Too late to bind them he swoons
Just drag yourself on
March on singing your sad songs.

Upon the story of Old Glory
How will history speak of the wall
A piece of the puzzle that caused it to fall?
Did it boost the economy or cause it to crawl?
Will the workers get paid or continually delayed?
Where will the BILLION come from?
Corporate taxes or the masses crumb?
While I confess, I loved Melania's dress
Remember the words Antoinette said,
"Let them eat bread!"
Make no mistake, I wish him well
Our Beautiful Country
has been going through hell
Its citizens weary and punchy
So cheers to the next four years

She nagged, in monologue,
Her wicked tongue aflame!
But I cared not –
My homemade wine
Packed a bigger punch!

The dogfood was crunchy

But I think he lied
Cause he thinks I am punchy
When he says

Brows from the west wind, clinch and glint abreast.
Bracelet she wears, rocks rhythm to country's souls.
Her coloured oval Lips subtle the thought
That she braises when it comes to domestics.
Her subdue touch and crutch are her good sorts.
Echoes of the heart, the chance that chest should date
With no vowel vague; and apprehensive to many.
Lo and behold certified and satisfactory core.
When we she built up beauty with peace
Our hearts long for day by day to feel and see?
Despite giant writes and intact punchy speeches,
Yet her dumb and deaf jokers move no inch.
When will her peaceful procreations procreate peace?
When will are heterogeneous veins vaunt brotherhood?
When will her crowns suffice apartheid recurrences?
Or peace will dwell after the extinct of all her utterances?
