God does make hearts pound
Christmas has been all around
His love will abound
we were in a crowd
sang Christmas carols clear and loud
love God we have vowed
leaves were bright and green
tall Christmas tree quite a scene
know what God does mean
God and His presence
created happy moments
with Christmas presents
God gave us a hand
our Christmas time we had planned
followed His command
God shall always satisfy
Christmas gifts he did supply
from heaven in the sky
James Hilarious Precarious Horn
Preparer of Horn Haiku
Fire, the cleansing of debris.
A preparer of new growth for the seeds.
It Warms those who are cold.
Fire brings forth memories of old.
Internal flames of the fire start anew,
We rise from our brokenness like the Phoenix renewed.
Soaring into the crisp clean night sky,
The fiery flight of the Phoenix goes by.
All those who see are touched by its story.
Our Father is delighted to see such glory.
Do love...not for prize or reward....
The warrior or soldier goes into battle simply to serve his or her country.....
Like a tax preparer that never touches refund.....
only putting in work just because.....
and would reply, "look! we won!"
Doing a deed from the heart.....
is better than doing it for a charge.....
The recipient doesn't need a receipt when an act of love touches the heart.....
meaning the act was genuine and heartfelt.....
A warmness that makes the heart melt.....
That only comes from above.....
The only One Who is Love.....and knows what love is truly.....
is GOD
A lizard from somewhere landed on a plate.
Having his head in a kale salad was a terrible fate.
The remains were back in the kitchen all the while.
How did the preparer miss spotting the reptile?
This is not what the average dining customer would want.
It happened at lunch at a Manhattan restaurant.
The woman got a refund for the salad after the event.
The owner of the establishment simply stated: “No comment”.
From a news story found on aol.com
Thursday morning I received an urgent letter
from the Internal Revenue....it said I had to pay back
my refund or they would garnish my wages;
there's much confusion about the new exemption laws, but the money is due
by July the twenty fourth, or I would be charged more fees and interest.
Wasn't it the tax preparer fault for the avoidable error?
I am not going for a tax audit, I will send them any amount I can and pay the rest
in monthly installments by tightening my belt even more; it's harder than fighting
City Hall! I'll have to pay for having had that ball...no refund on items bought!
I'll look forward to a zero refund in late February, or possibly in May; they'll keep
everything I'll claim...many things I have to give up: no dinners at restaurants;
no trendy clothes: I must settle for home cooking and avoid movies on demand!
