Quantum Superposition
”A particle can exist in multiple states or places simultaneously until measured.”

we know now that light is
both a particle and a wave
as ethereal vibrations
omnipresent in enigmatic space
both the light of the sun
as also the light that lights the sun

let us look at bilocation
demonstrated by many a saint
to name a few ~ Padre Pio, Ananamayi Ma,
Jesus, Sri Yukteshwar Giri, Neem Karoli Baba …

why then is our consciousness limited
containerised by mind and senses five
when it is vividly clear and self-evident
that our true Self is absolute

who dwells in the potent pause
of polarity interchange
at each half-breath and betwixt heartbeats
or between two thought trains

where lies fulcrum of awareness
is it in the head, the heart or in the void
allowing pristine silence to engulf stillness
truth of the noumena is known
beheld in plain sight as flickers in space
being both immanent and transcendent

Two Seeds

Two seeds in heart
compete to be fed
with mercy
or vengeance
oh mystery
of consent
one blooming
in sweetness
petal fragrance
joy of honeybees
and butterflies
elegance
nestling birds
in tender foliage
curtains
sparkling
from cracks
their hidden songs
as gems
then petals fall
embroidering grass
in colors
and fruits mature
to succulence
ambrosial
nourishing life
with seeds that fall
and sprout
reminding
made by God
circle cycle
while made by man
disintegrate and vanish.
The other seed
a weed
that chokes all life
the Devil
known to trail
in shoes of blood
to be eradicated or
allowed to flourish
a choice to be made
in life's short instants
that will continue
unchanged after death
to joy eternal
or never-ending Hell
where those
who don't believe
will...
when they get there.

Leander Skumfeldt

1864-1916

Truly my friends

Dying was my greatest fear, while alive.

My most dreaded

Most detested of future experiences.

Dying, finally, was my greatest achievement

My greatest joy!

My highest calling!

The summit of my scant human existence!

Old Whittier town,

I have missed you indeed,

Have missed the bumpy rides by wagon and horse

To Los Coyotes,

Have missed the starry nights of suave embraces

In Sycamore Canyon.

With eyes wide open

I saw the irony of my life,

There, on a long table at Pio Pico.

There, amidst the old pottery and the sombreros

A single pressed morning glory

From the Spanish Bible of The Don,

A single fragile fading flower,

A metaphor for a sad but ecstatic soul,

My somber sullen soaring soul!

Be it known: I lived my life quietly

In the fear of God, and

I died my death screaming curses to his face!

But, truly my friends, truly

I found brazen beauty

Found unimagined enticings

In the final gasping exhalation

Of my last heartbeat.

My Little Detective

My Little Detective

I saw and first heard
It roared like T-rex and whistled like bird
Underneath the wooden stand shall appear
A finely built little boy wearing a crew cut hair

Far away to the place I stayed
He sometimes banished due to slow internet bandwidth
Turned me into a blank thousand-yard stare
I longed to hear his little jaunt pleasure

He is a picture to reveal my happiness
An allegory to tell my journey’s success
If on a magical-intellectual land of puzzles can inhibit
He is a boon to get me deep through the thicket

A special break in winter, a moment so right
Find the one who likes this color code #4E9258
Whose name is in this code: 16-9-15 14-15-5-12
Reveals a saint’s name and my name is involved

Two factors, holy and first Christmas
He is my love, my whole life to embrace
His mother’s face, their likeness you will know
Read the clue, line-by-line as you go

His time so precious that I need to guard
A super sleuth knows how to trap his bard
Now I cracked the code, solved this riddle
He is my little detective, my son “Pio Noel”

The Wild Kratts Kids

Turning on the TV
Wonders how they do it
Why they need to flee
Is a matter you know your mother wit

When the world is calm
Somewhere out there needs your help
Who could hear them, and make becalm
Someone watched them like a wolf’s whelp

They are brothers to save wild fauna
With their special creature power suits
Gaining animal powers, saving them from trauma
Transport them in a specific route

Helping rebuild habitat’s life chain
Pio as Chris, Malka as Aviva
JD as Martin, Joakim as Gavin
Teamwork with a brilliant idea

Dolphin’s dive, frogfish’s camouflage
It feels great with these powers
With the strength of rhino charge
Basilisk lizard walking on water
