Often too much flash
and not enough substance

I mean, I like dessert as much
as the next guy...but please be
mindful, of ones own poetic
waste/waist-line

Of course, each to his/her lyric
own; therefore, I speak not to
those already Committed~ but 
to those at the ledge, contemplating
the Writer's Leap -- whether not~ or
to Poem?

if to add one's own sweet and sour
to the poetic flour

making words splash and shower

budding words that flower

making even the smallest words
to the ears and eyes of others

summit

phonetically, phenotypically 
tower!
