Men Are Made In Tears So Be a Man

MEN ARE MADE IN TEARS SO BE A MAN

This world's cliché says 'tears are not for men'
But if you cry your eyes out now & then,
you are perceived as emotional, feeble or weak,
rather deal with situations even if bleek,
and act critically rather than speak.
Some of our life's theories and reasons
are invalid and falls short before our eyes,
while some are too machoistically base.
When will you let the water fall ablaze?
And humbly descend from your exalted face?

Men are made in tears so be a man;
Witness the complete cycle of your lifespan.
Shedding a tear doesn't devalue or cost a dim.
I know a lot of us men don't feel the same
We feel running the eyestream is a shame.
In my life, I only have few examples of real men,
certainly not all of the gender that emits semen.

Perspectively, some men hail from different worlds.
The greatest & strongest man against all odds,
broke down and cried...baffling all ye gods.

I have words for you but most importantly, two words:
'Don't forget, "Jesus wept".
And brother, so can you!'

Set Me Free

You are always anxious that I'm incapable,
I feel you watching over my shoulder,
it makes me nervous and less able,
never changing as I've grown older.

Forcing things on me when I'm not ready,
so I'm unprepared and lack composure,
and therefore I'm somewhat unsteady,
the pressure then makes me feel unsure.

If I was left alone to do things free
without you hovering all over me,
while supervising every activity,
you wouldn't transfer worry on to me.

It has to be done your way,
or I've failed perspectively,
note I say perspectively,
as it is seen subjectively.

You explain that what doesn't need explaining,
in-depth check ups follow while my energy drains,
the obvious revisited while my brain's straining,
you must be absolutely sure I have no brains.

It eats away my enthusiasm and determination,
because the control is never mine,
I hope we can change the system and expectation,
and you show belief that I'll do just fine.

Perspectively

After years or centuries
- in some next life
we must be in love.
We'll be lying on the beach snuggled
and I will kiss you,
and not only this,
and not only once,
but after years or centuries.

After years or centuries
- in some next life
we must be in love.
With the big toe
in the wet sand I will write
the most awesome a white verse for you.
And the sea will wipe it away
to make room for another.
And I will write again,
and not only this,
and not only once,
but in some next live...

Happy New Year

As traditions go
the one we know
and celebrate each year
is filled with hope
and helps us cope
with all our struggles and fears

A mark in time
to draw the lines
finding new resolve
courageous new hearts
courageous new starts
our happiness involves

It's out with the old
and in with the new
all perspectively
whatever it is
we're trying to do
self respectively

Fighting for happy
and searching for joy
we struggle and wrestle each day
without understanding
our forceful commanding
to steadily stand in our way

Blessed are the wise
who've opened their eyes
seeing so clearly anew
all that you seek
once hopeless and bleak
is right there in front of you

With an new inner voice
let's make a new choice
to abandon emotional drear
and give us the gift
with each glass we lift
of a healthier Happy New Year!

The Spirit Heals

The Spirit Heals

Stepping away
from the busy day
the bustle of bothers and beliefs

The chatter
the great masses of matter
of opinions, assumptions, and griefs

Embracing solitude
to replenish the astute
Breathe with a sigh of relief

With intuition vast
Perspectively looking past
Creating my own inner peace

The Zen of silence
the escape from pretense
With solace, disharmony released.
