The sun, long set, whispers a quiet good night, its final glow passing from sight, while the glimmering moon patiently awaits to greet us in early morning splendor. My head reels in delight as with slightest brush, in the grass she rests beside me.
In the dark the final light fades to black and Perseus' spawn spears the night
as we watch mesmerized, one lone falling star pierces the jewels on his sword
releasing heaven's dust upon us, and my mind's illusions delight in dreams of her.

Well I've got high hopes that
When I cross the river Styx and
Land on your island you will look
On me with favor in your eyes
Like a diamond in the rough
All I have is a heart of gold
But what else can you ask for
If you've been searching for
Someone to love...
Almost like Perseus you're demons
Do not scare me one little bit but
But I think you've gone and casted a spell
On me how else could I lay here
With you under the shadow of this golden
Magical tree and never want to leave
Well it's like I am suspended in a world
Of ecstasy...
Are you some kind of nymph left over
From the days of Cronos dancing the
Ancient dance of criticism and fertility
Well you don't know what
That does to a young man like me
Cuz you are doing things to me I've
Only dreamed about in my wildest
Fantasies but if you're looking for
Someone to love call me Perseus,
Call me Perseus!

Staring into midnight sky
Vastness brings both fear and hope
Millions of light years separate us
Visible only with telescope
Time’s illusion tricks our eyes
As we view ancient history
For all we know it’s dead and gone
Swallowed up in mystery
From Perseus someone stares back
Seeing the Earth in different light
Dinosaurs and ancient plants
Who've yet to meet their final plight
Fewer masses of dry land
Larger than exist today
Mammals yet to dominate
To dinosaurs they’re only prey
We both exist in time right now
But neither sees the current state
Time delays warping perceptions
Unable to communicate
