This is the
first year without you
my heart breaks
I miss you
so much that I wonder if
I can perservere
(Naani Poem).
Seeing life's stuff through,
Cheerings all champs, we are
Surviving, thriving
Thoughts, love for human race.

"To make pearls out of grit
is to make sorrow and hardship a thing of beauty"
Every night I dance with the memories
and all the pain.
When I wake in the morning
I'm never the same.
All day I go through
with a constant ache.
Questioning the day's resolve
and will I make.
And then like a butterfly
my spirits lift.
No more rowing through life's current
now I just drift.
Falling asleep to the music
of all songs I chose.
Each tune playing a memory
as my eyes close.
The melody of hope
to fill the heart.
Last night of the wrestling
the dance to part.
Though torrents
of blinding snow
fall furious
though storms
spit lightning
cracks limbs
shreds my cloaks
diminishes me
reckon this
I endure
I fight
I prevail
My stoic
resolve undaunted
stars
those intemperate
fools
twinkle and die
the sun and moon
adulterers in
their affections.
My roots run deep
staunchly permanent
inside Mother Earth
I am steadfast
my presence
constant
immutable.
Ever to weather
Father Time’s
irrevocable
irremovable
perpetual
march
I remain
I persevere
I abide.
I feel that I’m climbing, while rocks they all fall.
Though I’m barely moving, at not even a crawl.
I keep to the shadows, under cover of night.
It’s only in daylight, where I truly feel fright.
there blinded by radiance, I’m stripped to the bone
that’s where my weakness, and flaws are all shown.
Renewed through the torment, like rising from ash
I picked up my burdens and I re-slung my sash.
I fought to be kneeling, I rose to my feet.
I realized my sorrows were only skin deep.
My eyes to the heavens, I scream out in pain.
I’m seeing it now, I’m the one to be shamed.
I’m forgetting the history, I lost all the plot
I Remembered what’s lost, truly is not.
Before I had battled or picked up this sword
You grabbed a guitar, and strummed this chord
Our lives are just music, some faster some slow.
Some songs go much higher, and others stay low
When the demons say, listen I need you to stop
they say you’re not ready, that you’re just gonna flop
Don’t linger in shadows, don’t dwell on the pain.
Cause someone much bigger just called you by name.
So rise from the ashes, slaughter the beasts
There’s one massive table that’s set for a feastm

Sometimes I wonder,
When will this war of Armageddon end?
How many lives has this war taken?
And souls growing weary through spiritual battles
Hard to comprehend.
Another year has passed,
Another chapter inscribed
In the book of our lives.
Not a day goes by
Where death, famine and pestilence
Conquers the world, as the human race slowly dies.
When shall there ever be peace in the world,
Where nations drop their weapons and forsake their greed,
To surrender in trustworthiness and love.
How long shall the curse destroy us?
And shed one anther's blood.
Cursed is the ground for our sake;
Past, present future -
We live hopeless days without love.
