Multi-hued fragrance
Ye spread wide, haply then dance,
With bees rare romance,
Watch butterflies prance,
And give this penman a chance
His mood to enhance!

Poet’s Note: And what we, men do? Enjoying their company, nor learning from them, but in our haughty come-uppance we pluck them, put them in a vase, or try make a bouquet as if we would do a better job than Nature. But let me say this, O Flowers: one glance and ye do my mood enhance.

Chi-ly will the wily wonder grow
From beyond the boundary
Elements remain powered by an energy
No verse conversed to be constrained
Show him wonders soon revealed
To double down on his display
He steals a word from all beyond
To cast another masterpiece today
The body moves and drives the words away
Stillness helps the lowly scribe to hear
Precision of a finer voice, a better choice
Side by side, a deeper verse is near
Tapped a mystery, he weeps to loose
No penman can desire a fate like him
To fall each day to one who loves recluse
Drops like dew, another verse of whim

Collected
Come play with Me here
in the surf
O my soul
Come splash in the edge of my
tide
soft foamy white tickling toes
covering feet
lapping your sand castle designs
Kick up my sand
as you twirl
as you dance
cartwheeling wind by your side
Find treasures I've placed for
you
stars
rock
scattered shells
Gather Me up
with delight
into deep pockets I go
bulging full
overfilled
Tuck me carefully crunching away until home
where we go
to be placed into thoughtful jars
upon shelves
window sills
Your pride of today
collected
waiting
for sight
