He pauses two times every day around the first and the last light…
Once after his eyes open in the morning…and once before they close at night.
At night…a peaceful moment…where in his bed he lay…
to relive some of the memories he collected throughout the day.
And in the morning when he wakes up…
as his eyes becomes accustomed to the light
he pauses a moment to wonder
what memories he will take to bed that night

P A U S E S,
They'd say it's good.
How far? I'd wonder.
S T O P.
If you need,
Wonder, for how long.
P A U S E
If you must,
But Tarry the journey.

It's a name
They'd give.
All remains the same
Life like a game
That's all a name.
The ripples continues,
There's no end.
No stopping.
No pauses.
It's a construe.
We exist to feel the burn
It rest when no breath remains.

rain 'tis all or none
a torrent downpour to flood
a dearth parched to drought

there are passages in life
gaps between jobs
between marriages
even between... deaths
hear the stillness
there are pauses in life
spaces between words
some spoken
others mute
a few...written...
feel the emotions

Listen
Listen to my ugly words
as they scratch upon your eyes
Searching for the truth in my world of lies
Beauty springing tears from this false facade
Love hidden in the hearts
of the brokenhearted
Spitting thoughts from within
to ease the congestion
Sickly slick i take a trip
Trying to lie to cover future lies
Forensically analyse my evasive murder
and accuse the accusations
Your world has broke my all
No one left to call
Upon the traces damning my existence
Listen just beyond my words
No silence in the pauses
Another joins my chorus
As we stand alone and sing
such similar verses
underneath the curses

WE FLY OUT OF LIFE WITH TWO WINGS AND A PRAYER,
HOPING FOR SAFE JOURNEY AND DAYS FULL OF SUNSHINE
WE RUN, WE WALK, WE TALK, AND WE STRIVE TO ACHIEVE.
WHEN WE STOP, WHAT IS IT WE DO... TO BE? (B)
TAKE A PAUSE IN LIFE AND THINK OF HOW TO SPEND
A LOVING MOMENT IN THE QUIET OF YOUR THOUGHTS.
TAKE A WALK DOWN THE RIVER AND WATCH THE
SALMON RUN UPSTREAM. LISTEN AS THEY SPLASH THEIR TAILS AND STRUGGLE UPSTREAM TO TAKE THEIR BULK TO CALMER WATERS, FOR REST AND RECOVERY.(B)
LISTEN TO THE TREES AS THEY SOFTEN THEIR LIMBS
TOWARDS THE GUSH OF WHITE WATERS WISHING THAT THEY TOO COULD DIP INTO ...
REGARDLESS OF THEIR STATUESQUE APPEARANCE,
THEY DO NOT TO RUN THEY STAND IN FIRM AND DRINK FROM THE ROOT AND VIBRATIONS OF THE RIVER.(B)
THEY GROW GREEN FULL OF SHEEN SO LIFE CAN BE GREEN AND FULL FOR YOU. TREES ARE BEAUTIFUL WHEN THEY ARE FULLY GROWN. (B)
SO ARE WE WHEN WE PAUSE IN LIFE AND REALIZE THAT WE WERE MEANT TO FLY OUT OF LIFE WITH TWO WINGS AND A SOLID PRAYER. CREATOR BLEST TAKE US THERE,
VERILY AND TRUE I SAY TO THEE (B)
