Pathology Poems

Colonoscopy

Colonoscopy

Colonoscopy,
strikes dread. It’s not too bad - when
Colon trouble free.

Jules Verne-like travel,
up your ****, spelunking through
strange, pink-ridged caverns.

Hunting for the snark,
or boojum, or polyp, who
feasts, darkly, in there.

Snipety-snap - jaws,
polyp-snatch; dragging from view,
miscreant tissue.

Pathology dock -
destined. Tried in the morning,
suspected malign.

Tried.. judged innocent.
Callooh! callay! It vanished
softly — my boojum.

Premium MemberChaos Into Synergy

Synergy erects God's love

In Ego's monopolizing face,
in wounded hearts,
in monoculturing
monotheistic minds

Of economic
and political Chaos

Sun enlightened Synergy
resurrects God's omnipotent
resilient
polyculturing compassion.

Premium MemberDistinctive Differences

What difference can you feel,
if any,
between confrontation
and engagement?

Between nonviolent communication
and WinnerTakeAll debate,
or wrestling,
for that win/lose matted matter?

InBetween cooperative compassion,
dissociative persuasion,
competitive dispassion?

Between LoseLose despair,
win/lose anxiety,
win/win anticipation?

InBetween Mono-
Bi-
Poly-Cultural
world views?

Between liberation
and conservation?

Between dialectical discernment dialogue
and oppositional competitive privileged position?

InBetween invoking cooperative compassion therapy
and provoking traumatic face-saving oppression?

Between taking a deep listening solidarity stand
and giving your autonomous position statement?

About differences you may feel,
between divisive confrontation
and inclusive engagement.

The primary climate pandemic problem
has something to do
fix
overpower
our Big Verbal Dominating

Vocations listing our best LeftBrain answers
pat and privileged
before deep RightBrain feeling quests
are evenly invited
into Earth's deliberating DNA dialogue,
much less the likelihood of full and equal engagement
in healthy ecosystemic destinies,
LeftBrain twitter manifest
or RightBrain OtherWise

Co-invested bequests,
regenerative requests
following generations of inquests

Into healing vengeful wounded climates
by re-investing in cooperative co-ownership
rather than more StraightWhiteMale privileged
competitive
repetitive redhot subclimates
of heated
unhealthy monocultures
of patriarchal LeftBrain
violent degeneration.

A Pathology of Things

Did I hear them sing Hosanna, yesterday?
What did you drunk them on
For the passover feast is not real alcohol
Did you call them to repentance too
So they before your heaven comes
Could settle old scores with you?
No priest nor prelate told them
The meaning of the covenant you made
They just said: change, yes, we can
That said that before drowning in the desert sands
Piling manna and largesse in Pharaoh's hands
That was the only difference
This variation strange to them
This separation between you and God
This wrongheaded experiment
I vomit with the dying Quayles
I cannot foreclose the callous serpents
Biting at my heels
All day long across the dictionary of my rage
I ponder our crucifixion, and our age
So shallow, so shallow and unforgiving
Men we are impelled by sin, we can surrender
But we cannot change, we cannot change
The history of the multitude that littered the desert floor.
