Passers-By

As I gaze out from my window
I feel the need to cry
Don’t they know that I’ve just lost you
Those people passing by

How can they treat this day as normal
When I’m feeling such despair
If I told them all about you
Do you think they’d really care

If I begged for them to listen
Would they Really comprehend
That you were not just my loved one
But quite simply my best friend.

Passers By My Window

WELCOME TO MY WINDOW, STRANGER
IT SEEMS "LA VIE EN ROSE" FROM OUTSIDE
FRESHNESS OF THE BLOOM OF PLASTIC
WITH DOUBLE BARS INPRISONED IS MY HEART

A GATE TO FREEDOM OR A MIRAGE OF DESERT ?
DILUSSION OR ILLUSION ?..I BURN FROM INSIDE OUT
I SENSE MY MOUTH SCREAM ROARING ECHOES
YOU WALK BY ME ...I? ...ENCAGED IN SOUNDPROOF FATE...

As passers by are passing by,
Do you wonder what to say?
Do you wonder where they're going?
Will they pass again your way?

Is the place they're going happy?
Does their step give you a hint?
Are they going 'cause they want to?
Or is the reason, they were sent?

If they are passers by,
Then you're a passer byer too
Nod your head and smile and say
“Hello”, and “how are you?”

Most likely they'll return the smile
And the words you had to say
And passers by just passing by
Helped make each other's day

Premium MemberParked Looking At Passers By

Here I am seated quite comfortable
sun's shining making it perfect day
at peace with myself and the world
looking on seeing all come my way

This makes you wonder all their thoughts
especially if I dare make eye contact
may think I'm weird or even worse
if they be my boss I would be sacked

Looking at him with reddish jacket
seems bit bold but it's bright
that lady over there looks so dull
maybe had hard day not going right

These little boys definitely twins
wonder what tricks they do at home
now everyone's looking quite happy
doing what they do in Rome

So it's been real interesting day
watching all the world walk on by
people watching is rather cool
leaving this setting makes one cry

The Smile Between Two Passers By

wishing you understand
but you only do much less than I do you
I am an alone
and you are a united,
the strange are often damsels
whereas the normal are delighted
by their luck
of not needing,
just knowing,
the smile between two passers by.

Passers-By

Latte in a paper cup
and cigarette in hand
define me while I sit
and peruse the passers-by
on a busy side walk.

On the street engines groan
like Big Game I want to shoot
as they pass the passers-by.

Instead I am the Game and
a tourist is the hunter with her
Iphone Camera trained
on me!

I try to hide ; cornered I am
snared, click goes her weapon
and I am shot! Enraged at her
cheek!

She smiles at me and motions
With her lips ‘thank you’ and
disappears into the side-walk
rumble ; lost to the passers-by.

Passers of Pain

They are everywhere, these passers of pain;
you think they are your friend, but money is their game.

Little by little they ease themselves in, and always
bring misery, time and again.

They prey on the weak, they know the ones;
our fathers, mothers, daughters, and sons.

They are not concerned about anything, just the
money they get, for the misery they bring.

When you are hooked, "oh" they can tell, these friends
of misery, will land you in jail.

Take a long look at where you have been;
nothing accomposished since you welcomed misery in.

Your family has now become your biggest enemy;
that's what they tell you, your friends of misery.

If you think for one minute that no one knows, just
look in the mirror at how misery shows.

You are the one that has to change; no one can do it for
you, and you have everything to gain.

We all have choices we make everyday; the good and evil
that comes our way.

Get help, get clean, then get on with your life;
remember, read your bible, God is on your side.
