My peripatetic parrot went to sea
where he met a perspicacious chickadee
He courted her a bit too parsimoniously
For this peccadillo, she ensured he couldn't pee
I can see those machines all standing in a row.
That is where so many gullible people go.
All of those fools enter hoping to strike gold.
They come in from the boardwalk and the winter’s cold.
The machines emit alluring sounds and lights.
I see people in front of them during days and nights.
What is dumped into those contraptions causes frights.
Victims insert all their money without regret.
Cash goes in, and promises are what they get.
Those mechanical thieves pay out parsimoniously.
They take advantage of human greed and gullibility.
It seems those gadgets will operate without end.
In time, folks will know they are not a friend.
