We drive on the left
park in the driveway
and walk on the pavement
over here in the good old U.K.
They drive on the right
and on the parkway
also the pavement
over there in the U.S. of A.
It could be confusing to motorist
and pedestrian alike,
so where should we go
when riding a bike?

They turned out for the ball
decked out in their finest
gowns of green
sleeves frilly lace-trimmed
weaving and waving their charms
to a gentle breeze
alternating from deep, rich tones
to a sun-splashed yellow
topped off by lush garlands
wreathed offerings

You trail the parkway with your grace
Lusciousness of weeping willows
Gentle breeze with sways and billows
Surreal beyond commonplace
Lavish greens beckon and entice
With promises of paradise
You reach out in a strong embrace
Seductive alluring sultry
Hypnotic brush of artistry
Much how a mermaid would enlace
Take our breath away with her charm
So coyly beguile and disarm
And to reverie you give chase
Somersetting and minuetting
in this most idyllic setting
You trail the parkway with your grace
Surreal beyond the commonplace
You reach out in a strong embrace
Much how a mermaid would enlace
And to reverie you give chase

Here i await
My address and doomed fate
Everything around me decaying
Seems like my life isnt worth saving
How long til i rise from this grave?
My cradle of filth with dirt covered days
Jesus save me please
But my reflection is his it seems
Feels like im going mad
Who wants to be God...
Or even ask
Everything around me is ****
Everything around me clenches my fist
The war i wage seems to be trapped in my head
A suppressed memory from someone long risen and undead
The worms eat at my mind
What purpose in this grave will i find?
Veterans memorial parkway....
A sick joke just as dead as i lay
Fading to black i feel my essence dying fast
Just want to go home
To my Moon. Where my heart is always at
These days its getting harder for me to pray
Feels like im loosing my faith
Feel cursed and blessed with a taste
I crave more
So my final prayer is that God pulls me from this grave
I cant comprehend why the reason i was born this way
But please God help me make to my Sam
Only one who warms my heart as i lay buried in times sands
Bless it be....and Amen

Highway pedals screech as I tread off to saunter near the woods
Gaze lost in spiraling bark, idle with no purpose, blanketed
The wind brings a spotted butterfly, unannounced with cheer
