Empty

devoid of humanity,
the desert's got a wish;
the desert's got a secret
he doesn't need our teeth
when the piranhas are nicer than us;
when the megalodon is more gentle than us
there's a gray water-less fog only he can see
while the others are known for their sunlight
but for him, there's something in the air
that causes ultraviolet extinction
and now there's only his mental creation of reality
mirages and not, with no distinction
the sand is violet, with a blood red moat
the spines of the cacti build his back--
their points dulled down from lack of use
he makes the world, but the visitors that come
only skim the edges
to do nothing but flash their lights--
to capture his thin top layer
there's something deeper
all life evolved from the ocean
and he was separated from Pangaea
he saw it with his own eyes
everything

I Am Black

I am Black
I am the flag
I come not from a pack
Albeit I may look like it
I am from the back
The back of Pangaea
I am black blooded
Just like they are warm-blooded
I have been told I can't,won't,couldn't.
Being told I can't moments I cherish
For I know those moments shall perish
I am a black seed incepting into radish
I can, I can, I can, I can and I will and I Shall
Do anything if I want to
...ANYTHING
I am my greatest enemy
And yet I am the whole army
I am black,fearless and strong
But mostly I am black
I wait not for donations
I donate,I am ambitious
They are bishops,castles,Queens and Kings
And I? In this world I am born
To be the black ****
They say stalemate
I say checkmate

Premium MemberMiles Smiles

On the Corner,
Around Midnight,
The Dark Magus,
Brewed a Bitches Brew.

Although we were
Walkin' and Workin'
and we were there
at the Birth of the Cool,
he was already
Miles Ahead!

From Pangaea to
Sketches of Spain, and
even Arghata, all told the truth.

Just a Siesta, and then
quickly to Live at the Plugged Nickel,
and I left, feeling
Kind of Blue, knowing
that the man with the horn
had gone.

He had gone
beyond Star People,
doffed his purple Aura,
had got down to some
Hot Spot,

and just because
We Want Miles didn't mean
that we could ever have him.

Miles Smiles,
In a Silent Way,
far beyond.

Pangaea

My body aches
for your fingertips
that caress the continent
of our body together...

Our love is Pangaea
never to drift apart
or embark on separate journeys
embracing our surreal togetherness...

At times I do not fathom
why you a goddess of nature
would desire me a tiny island
when you could have the entire ocean...

The waters that hold us together
as two souls in one body
will forever sustain us
rather than two that fragment-

That would become
severed by time...

Diamonds and Pearls Intro

Diamonds and Pearls Intro

He’s a black diamond standin’ on his throne
Platinum pyramids full of rubys and golds
He rolls royces in silks and riches
First class flights fly first…pacific
Atlantic oasis vacations chasin’ him…
From the states to the islands…they paradisin’ him
Crusin’ round the world in his yacht…no glitches
Shinin’ like baguettes on his wrist…past richness
Sun bathin’ over seas…meditatin’ steadily
In mentality of Garnet…pure clarity
Red emeralds green emeralds…purple tanzanite
It’s Taj Majal relica lookin’ in his eyes
Care for a glass of “The jewel of Pangaea”
Toast to the diamond in the rough of ideas
Higher than the pope…king of all kings
I introduce to you…your majesty… King Sesame
