Soon a time to repent will come
When winter captures the west,
East will summer then enjoy
No matter; season comes to quest.
Forty-five days to advent time
When all prepare for Christmas chime.
Then in the wilderness a voice will shout
‘Prepare ye the way of the Lord’,
Are we ready to prepare our lives or shall
We be busy with our own record:
Whose cake is best, dressed and spruced
From the stalls of styles reduced?
Are we busy, souls to clean and dress
Preparing in our heart a fresh room
Or with an outfitter spending hours
To look the best in hair and plume?
Then with decorating our lounge and stair
We are busy, but not for our spirit care.
‘Prepare ye the way of the Lord’
May just be a distant cry,
For we are all busy doing things
Not actually knowing the reason why.
Let’s for once, open our ears to the Word
And contemplate on our Saviour’s birth.

Taking right measurements,
Tirelessly working with
Thread, needle and scissors
To make you that fine dress,
Trimming it into shape,

Last name here, First step there, only one allay...
Vestige sagacity, flaxen ochroid genes skitter down,
Diddle drizzled dints to acquiesce an ugly axis,
Whet of whiled grime, tips on me thus to dawn,
In hands of lonely children, bid these lips bye-bye...
Bequest oaths, for ode by love is a home plight,
Coalescing pivots crux fine fortunes through,
Docent tasks fathom nature's dew of grief,
Tons of totes vex abstruse wills to loot,
But virtuous lenity glib adept heartfelt reefs,
Gait jiffy haps with tribes so grim time tears,
God's flanges tarry finales who lope o'er losers,
But foremost, guerdon sojourn souls aiding others...
Accouter the outfitter by concords of trust,
Master a gentlemen and woman of good taste,
Upon Sunrise and Sunset, leave wise and do weep,
The bequeath of ensuing generations propound...
Upon birth and grave, life and death, -but more life...
