Gentle Earth, and you
Inseparable, no?
If made, as meant for
Why shun? Enjoy!
With each rushed up breeze
Of its embrace
Lover's, perfume-filled
Lover's revives
Hilled and coastally
Opes wide its arms
Feeling that rapport
Instinct. Not coy!

Care
Doth weigh
Each long stride
From here to you,
Gone ...
Hopes
I breathe
Just one soft
Kiss on your eyes,
Love.

Heavens Gate
Written: By Tom Wright
7/30/03
When life's trail seems filled with stubble,
and water about you is pitched and rough.
Search for answers not 'mongst the rubble,
for there, exist days most filled with fluff.
In God's Holy Word is no promise made,
that your chosen path be smooth, but straight.
In life, compromise not, or for pleasure trade,
for Christ is the key that opes Heavens Gate.

Understand the reasons this feeling is to remain
Negativity runs rapid, skin flushed with blame
Hopes, dreams, and nightmares, are all the same
Agonizing within all of the outside of my pain
Pretending the effect has no bearing at all
Pretending that someone will catch me if I fall
Ignorance is bliss well not in unhappiness
Never did I ever want to ever feel like this
Eternal path chosen was never a choice for me
Silence...I am broken, I will never be set free
Still living in unhappiness...unhappily...

Yesterdays Flowers:
The UN-plucked flowers
makes the garden worth visiting,
As the new bud opes we feel
the excitement of newness.
we inhale new fragrances
We hardly remember the ones
not blooming, for they have
been plucked yesterday,
ceasing to bob in the breeze,
ceasing to hide in the shade,
or smile at the sun,
as someone has wanted
them to decorate the vestibule
