One heard the word,
two doubled at a time
three voices sublimated them,
four in group was done ...
Five in a quintet of faith,
six in vocal ensemble.
seven unison arrows.
eight in sound octaves,
nine novenas of relieving.
ten already as favorites,
eleven blew trumpets
Twelve herald prophets ...
So the divine truths
spread across the planet ...!
Cancerville
Cancer is completely indifferent to 5K beat cancer runs
and pink fight cancer ribbons and fervent prayers and
candle lightings and novenas and incense and myrrh.
Cancer has no hate or love for us. We're their Earth.
Chemo wasn't a walk in the park nor walking on hot coals.
"good days and bad". It was managed. The "cure" is ironic.
Bring the patient near death. Kill the cells, good and bad.
Let the body recover and scan to look for dead tumors. :-)
In Cancerville we all have ports to pump us with chemo.
Pour in the heavy metals and Mustard gas derivatives.
We all puke and **** accidentally. Think of your worst
hangover times 10. Oddly we want to continue to live on.
Time crawls at a snail's pace in Cancerville; wait and despair.
MRI's and Scans and blood work. Expecting the worst always!
Cancerville is a casino where you can only bet your life.
It's a game of chance in Cancerville. Bets against the house.

Miraculous Novenas prayed;
Urban facelift upgrades

Snapshot in verse

Profit pays plenty

Purpose prevails;
Persistence pays

Singapore
'Twas a fortnight fraught with tainted stars;
'Midst mournful tears salting Neptune's sea.
A withered lass swallows internal scars,
'Twixt purist passions removed from thee.
Thoust bravest beloved her soul kept dear;
A buccaneer's quest sculpting pirated pride:
"Seizing Zeus' crown 'neath Poseidon's bier;
A jewel I'll bequeath to thine waiting bride."
Lantern lights flicker past sheltered shores.
Naked thee writhes; nary a vow to don.
Rest not the rues grieved 'pon garish moors -
Whilst honored prayers of thou beau breathes non.
Replete in requiem; Thalassa exhales,
Thine darkened omens proclaimed by thee.
Dying the deaths of thoust betrothed prevails;
Whilst unheard novenas abandons she.
A fortnight chills and the stars grow dim;
Neptune's waters heal whilst God's fingers burn.
A comely maiden torches thy heart for him -
In hope thine's glow reflects lost love's return.
