I
Some denominations comfort the affluent
Some convict the comfortable
Some comfort the afflicted, as Jesus went
Doing in Palestine during His ministry for Israel
II
So, let us turn on it's political head
The denominations who sing the easy song:
Once saved always saved (Yes, He knows what you said)
Between you & God, so do not make a rule to sing
III
Before Matthew chapter 28, Jesus gives 27 chapters
That includes the LORD PRAYER, Pater Noster,
And the Sermon on the Mount, even heathens love:
Are you a child of God, I mean really His son or daughter?
IV
Mark 10: 15 has a comfortable warning:
Verily I say unto you, If you do not receive ...
The Kingdom of Heaven as a little child,
thou shalt not enter into it" - Be not deceived ...
V
I am not preaching Salvation by Works
Jesus paid it ALL, so it is Grace, His GIFT
But there is a way to receive (Do I hear an Amen?)
Unless you receive all Jesus did as a child ... whose Kingdom of Heaven?

Volcanic magma seethes beneath the surface,
Ready to erupt into view, when energised.
Our thoughts swirl and seethe too
Until we learn to marshal them,
Through the spectrum of our education,
Reining in our impulses ,to give them voice.
What we say about others, says more about us,
Unless ,like chameleons,
we blend into our backgrounds
And words become our camouflage
So that, when we urge love towards our neighbour,
We speak with ice in our hearts.
How we treat others, what treatment we deserve, let God decide.
Whether this is through neglect or active strife,
Our deeds do speak louder than our words,
Even if the pen is mightier than the sword.
We will be judged by our actions in this life,
If we take the Pater Noster as our guide.
So look deep into your heart and life
And tremble -along with me.
