Nickles, dimes
Fizzle, falter
As if
A magician
Mystically zapped
Finances
Whoa!
A problem
Surfaced
Frantic
Emotions
Preside, percolate
The power of prayer
Calms
Takes control, remains

Isaiah 41: 10-15
Isaiah 41:10
New Living Translation
10 Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.
Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you.
I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
Just hit with some anxiety when dealing with inflation.

"i...see..."
(said the blind man)
"sew"
(he took out his thimble...needles and saw)
"a coat"
(threads of truth...a covering of friends)
"rents"
(...other washed rags to keep warm by)
"wear"
(...as shelter...like..this...usual old crap)
"to beg"
(for change outside the subway where...the shop once was)

Thirty-nine and holding
Is a phrase we might have said
As we approached The Big Four-Oh
That age we used to dread
Not knowing at the time
What golden years still lay ahead
Our thinking was that growing old
Was worse than growing dead
But looking back on birthdays
And anxieties they brought us
The wisdom of grayheadedness
Reflects what time has taught us
Our life together just gets better
And as our joy just keeps mounting
If asked how old our marriage is
Say, "Fifty-Five and Counting!"
Just another Warrenpiece

I once knew a man named Nickles
who road on a bike with a Sickle
He did it so nice, that he did it twice.
Now, he's in a barrel of pickles.

What happens when law is lawless?
When unscrupulous hoodlums demolish your flawless teeth
When your home is ransacked of all your worldly possessions
And the people you know and love are dead and gone
As God's voice mail box fills with unanswered prayers
And love is no longer enough
While people are to frightened to bring children into the world
What can you do?
Start the surge, the purge of of hopelessness
Flush the lines of despicable crimes against humanity
Fill the house with meaningful moral projections
Be a God and open the lines and lend a helping hand
To those who need a shoulder to cry on
Rebuild the world with learned lessons and logical ethics
Would you?
