“Adam boy!” came Dad’s exclamation.
“Forgetting God? How I joyously, kindly looked…
Man’s Nicene ordination, Patriarch questioned!”
Response? Son, take up vindication- why?”
This is what happens when blade meets flesh?
When your insides breathe more air than you...
Lately I've lost muse to write, love to praise and words of hope,
Instead my pen is but a riotous menace,
Bringing nothing but sirens and horses,
With no compassion nor sentimence.....
So I've been reciting the nicene Creed every morning,
Hail Mary every evening
And holy Communion on Sundays
I need a fresh start,
An autopsy....
To reveal the cause of this pale heart,
This must be what happens when the blade meets flesh,
But I'm a man of flight,
So I've been crafting odes in my dreams of which I never find time to write,
This is beyond sorcery
What hobby is this? Of which it beeseches my intellects deepest chambers and still sings of free will,
Enslaved by the chains I create with my wrist.
Have you ever cooked fire in the sheets of a Rhodesian lass?
Or tried to build the Great Wall of China with hexanol sticks?
I am overtaken with passion
O’lady what are you that makes want to burn bridges and build a road of no return
You look like a lady i wrote about in a previous poem
I might sound crazy but i feel like we’ve fallen in love before
Perhaps dejavu
I want to try write of this feeling, all of it
How it feels to lose my mind but trust my heart when you soil my eyes
Sorry for littering this verse with what might not sound as love,
But can I take you to the mountains,
Somewhere in the western part of our country
Where the birds know hymns of lust and the winds talk of everlasting love
Where we simmer in the winds like fireworks as my hands stray into your arches
As you point at where the sun turns crimson red
I will recite ten nicene creeds to atone the lust of my heart.
?Time We Are Always Wasting
Do you think that I would be teasing;
God brings bright minds together for a reason
Not just to be passed up or simply ignored
But our magnificent minds be further explored.
Much more further analysis we will need
Compare the Apostles with Nicene Creed
When I thought about and did further peruse
Which one would be the very best to use.
Of many songs which shall we sin today
Should I close my eyes when I begin to pray?
Or both of my eyes on others must be gluing
So I can see and understand what they are doing.
Why should to myself all of my poems I keep
On all of my poems lie down on and then sleep
Yet still be responsible person I am being
With great ideas well worth hearing and seeing.
Before I press on or present you with the rest
Must admit by God I have been greatly blessed
Instead of me taking a pounding and a pasting
We better get busy and our time is a wasting.
