Moon lit skys
And ferris wheel rides
This was the time of her life
Just a little girl
With a cute smile that glowed like pearl
With waves of blonde hair that loved to curl
Again, agian, she would plead
To ride upon her minuter stead
Around in a circle the man would lead
Every year it was the same
Until time would be ashamed
And all to blame
Now she looks at her little girl
Who has that same smile of pearl
With her hair that stays curled
Its off to the races
And all the long lost faces
As she ties her little girls shoe laces
She smiled so brilliant
But some how redundant
She remembered
Those moonlit skys
And hidden alibis
