She's all dolled up, looking cool and hot, that's better than she's used to
Out on the town looking around for a guy that's better than she's used to
Looking cute in her go-getter suit, wish she were mine loving like we used to...
I see her face in the middle of the night
I lay awake and wonder why
A love so strong could ever die
And I cry...
Repeat three verses
Repeat chorus

Arms entwined
Body pressed against body
Lips engaging lips
Thighs in a bind-
I cannot turn away- so -
Instead, I say, " Will you two, please get a room"
My dearest lover bought me a cover,
To help me sleep with warmth through winter.
Even when I sometimes felt somewhat bitter,
I hold this blanket, think of him, and feel better.
My dearest lover comes to me in any weather,
I wrap him in the blanket and hold him closer.
When he's held by me, he becomes warmer.
When I'm near him, my heart becomes fonder.
My dearest lover promises we'll stay together.
Every sweet promise makes our love deeper.
I only hope I can make us happier and happier.
I only expect he appreciates me as his lover.
My dearest lover makes me feel I too matter.
So I'll always make sure he is looked after.
He makes me feel so much gladder,
For he is as sweet and smooth as cake batter.
I had fallen and shall remain in love with him;
My man who harmonizes with my every whim.
He is one of a kind, a cool and yet shy guy.
His frame and face both the apple of my eye.
When we first met I felt charmed by his voice,
So soft-spoken; so my heart made its choice.
When I first saw his face, my own face flushed.
His expressions: reasons why I often blushed.
I tell him every day I love him, in my own ways.
Even after going home, his love for me stays.
Whenever I feel alone, I daydream about him,
As well as recalling our dates to feel less grim.
I look forward to future visits from my darling.
He is truly worthy of being treated like a king.
He is saintly, calm, rational, and beautiful.
Since we began, he makes my heart feel full.
And my heart's suddenly skipping a beat
To the tune of his wooden, stringed acoustic
He's always been who I was meant to meet
His words sung, spoken, or written: my music.
My cheeks warm and soften into a smile.
When I am serenaded by him, my heart swells.
His songs make me happy longer than awhile.
Truly he is the one whom in my heart dwells.
And my heart suddenly slows so steadily
As he sensually seduces my body and mind.
His handsomeness makes me give in readily.
His everything all makes him one of a kind.
My whole body and mind sink inward.
He early on became my favourite partner ever.
His lovemaking makes me love being forward.
He is my best, last, dearest ever lover.
I will patiently wait for thee.
I will never break your faith in me.
I was waiting for you for so long.
I knew from shortly after our start,
It is with me you fatefully belong.
Your love reassembled my broken heart.
I studied things you very early on in life knew.
I knew rebirth and star readings are real.
With my soul as old as yours, not much is new.
I know it is when I am with you, I truly feel.
I felt when we met, it was somehow a reunion.
I felt I was meeting an old friend after ages.
I talk to you as though we are in communion.
At times, my soul recalls how we were sages.
I was learning about you for years and years.
I learned how to love and understand you.
I also learned to overcome many taught fears.
Our love is part of good karma long overdue.
I never bear my secrets on the skin of my body.
I bear my secrets in my life's anthologies of poetry.
I bear my love within words of my narratives of he and me.
Got a long list of foods he more than so often excludes.
Got a good heart to care for him in his various moods.
Got a soothing presence for whenever he lays with me and broods.
I'd be with you every day if I could,
But a lot is not yet going as it should.
I promise from now on I'll do you more good.
I'm afraid of you leaving, if you ever would.
I'd lay with you forever if it was possible,
But each week in which I wait feels impossible:
For me to contently ignore every sad variable,
Truth is only my own mind feels so terrible.
I want to be sitting near you every day.
I promise I'll never get in your schedule's way.
I'll still love you even when my mind may sway.
I will never lead your sincere heart astray.
I want to fall asleep every night on your chest.
I want to be why you too can have true rest.
I want to support you in ways I can invest.
I'm sorry for all times I haven't been my best.
My beloved can read the language of stars.
He reminded me what's for me is meant to be.
He is helping me heal my soul of its scars.
My beloved knows everything of this reality.
So patiently we observe each other.
My charm won me the truest lover's heart.
So curiously we become closer.
His charm guides me to a new start.
My beloved and I are cosmic magicians.
He believes in my power to change things.
I believe in his seership and devotions.
But I'm afraid I can't change some things.
So patiently he deals with me.
Prayers won me an honest-to-goodness man.
So curiously I align with thee.
Your prayers making me realize... I can.
We met beneath the soft and shifting light,
Two strangers caught within a sudden gaze,
The world fell quiet, turning from the night,
As autumn gold dissolved in summer’s haze.
The weeks flew by like birds upon the gale,
With every word, a deeper bond was spun,
No need for time to write a longer tale,
For in your heart, I found the only one.
Though seasons barely turned their heavy wheel,
Three months of grace were all we had to wait,
To set the sacred promise that we feel,
And seal our souls before the hand of fate.
In winter’s dawn, we stood to pledge our vow,
One life began, and here we flourish now.
tempest pools
he works all day
my woodman
he deserves some play
some interchange in tempest pools
my woodman makes me sigh
he makes me giggle
his pleasure’s my triumph
whatever I do is exchanged for better
my woodman’s prodigal tongue
sparks soul-confirming oaths
I lose myself
Lucky me
I have a woodman
the gipsy's cool audacity
and I’ve known the charms of love

Songs for this:
Teach Me Tonight by James Taylor
Everytime You Make Me Smile by Massimo Costa & Mika Logo
I'll Tumble 4 Ya by Culture Club
My sweet pastel pea flower beneath an evergreen tree,
I'll take you home, put you in my pottery before leaves fall free.
I'll love you forever and ever, for all of eternity.
One found my love to be so unholy.
Another found my love to be so unruly.
Many so soon went away unexpectedly.
This final one though loves me so truly.
