If ever there was a day
when the song of men
and Elves
were to disappear

From the face of Middle Earth
and the hearts and minds of
Elves Dwarves and men
it was at this time of sorrow

They were once
nine Kings who
were great and mighty
But then from the

Black shadows rose
Sauron and the power of the Ring
they wouldn't be able
to resist

So one by one
they were drawn to its power
and one by one
they fell

And now they ride
ceaselessly
searching for the
most Precious the Ring of Power

The one that their dark
Master wants it
just to possess it
to conquer and to smite with it.

Dreams of doom fill me quickly,
And overshadows my whole being
Thoughts as dark just come to be,
With impending doom, no longer clearly seeing

I feel so tired and so weary
All of sudden feel heavier on my feet...
Nothing to hold me, I can't take a step,
His evil presence makes my heart faster beat

I'm falling into a darker, endless hole,
And a fear like none other, raises all over me,
Where horrifying, undead faces my heart coldly grips...
He overpowers me and his dark riders creep on me...

The precious they want from me at any cost...
And the ring bids me to do his master's will, at last.

Whatever

I have written for numerous
   Tolkienesque publications
But I am a Jew!
Why do I keep doing this?
Well Keats wrote about truth and beauty
I find beautiful scenes in LOTR
I guess I am an aging hippie
I even use "Aging Hippie Bath Oil" with
patchouli
  The "craze" has died down
     The 60's are long over
Remember the song "It's Good to Be Alive"?
Well, it is!

Where should I go?
What should I do?
The past calls me
I'm long overdue

My soul is weary
I feel so old
With nothing to hold
I'm feeling so cold

I look at the sky
The Mallorn trees
I look at this land
And beyond the sea

I have to leave you
I'll always miss you.

Premium Member Rolling Shadows

(Another poem of mine, inspired by J.R.R.Tolkien's LOTR books, movies:)

Every minute in dreaded darkness I live.
My spirit hopeless seeks comfort and peace,
Heart and soul hungry, just barely survives,
This self-made cage I can't never embrace.
There is much more for me to do...to give...

Rolling shadows in which I stand no longer age,
Refuse to exist another day just like this...
Pain and sorrow follow me,death crowns life's page.
Feel so cold, empty, no lover to...kiss,
Time to fight! To fly! and open wide my cage!
