The day began with tears of emotion and excitement,
And all set in His plan predestined ever before His creation
That two little souls would be united for a purpose
With God it would be revealed, but to mankind, hidden always.
Twenty four milestones have been crossed with thorns and roses trod,
No mortal on their rescue was prepared to seek them into safe arms;
Yet it is HE Who has carried the twain souls in His Arms.
Mockery lashed at them; stones pelted at them; rivalry set ‘gainst them;
Stories cooked ‘gainst them; venom spewed at them,
It was God-sent angels who hid them in their wings.
Predators set to eat their flesh and blood but in vain,
For it is His Providence That carried them in His Bosom.
They crossed sixteen milestones, and on the way to Seventeenth,
God revealed His plan unto them with a Gift from His Arms,
And three souls have been added into His Fold.
Their Twenty fifth milestone is set to walk further,
And the three souls have laid themselves in His Arms.
Heaven crowned the three with His Golden Promise
And they shall be in His Providence till the ages go.

The First Day of the Last Month
By Franklin Price
12/01/2019
It's the first day of the last month
Of the last year that's a teen
For the twenty first of centuries
Since Christ was on the scene
This month on the twenty-fifth
We celebrate his holy birth
God sent him here to die for us
His only son, defined our worth
Christ was born in a manger
In a stable for the stock
The shepherds were out in the fields
Attending to their flock
The little town was Bethlehem
With a shining star above
To guide the wise men to that place
Of God's eternal love
Fast forward to his teen age years
Two thousand years ago
The Gregorian calendar, that we use
Tells the world that this is so
He frequented the temples
Taught a wise forgiving god
As the eldest, raised his family
When Joseph's death gave him the nod
Women were attracted
Wanted Jesus in their life
He chose a life of abstinence
Would not take any for his wife
As he was turning twenty
No turning back, he would not bend
We honor, once again his birth
As this year comes to an end
Finally after twenty two plus
years of marriage,
a husband (namely yours truly -
hitherto known as Matthew Scott Harris)
exhibits glint of care and concern
toward his significant other,
which wife bemoaned
absent expressions of love
particularly before the
honeymoon even occurred.
I readily admit shying away
from emotional intimacy,
especially toward the gal
whose pledge I trothed
July twenty fifth nineteen ninety six,
(fifteen days hence)
yet even formative years (mine)
scant overtures displayed toward
me father, mother, plus
older and younger sister
(neither non twisted).
A strong suspicion predominates
neurological, psychological,
and social perturbations
commingled while said christened goodfella
developed in utero, whereat genetic quarks
sparked, manifested, and engendered
unforeseen grievous hardship
severely, inexplicably, and figuratively
dislocated, truncated, and uprooted
his promising, (albeit
short lived) blissful boyhood,
which happy go lucky preschool years
abruptly analogously came to crashing halt
soon after setting foot into first grade.
Impossible mission
to tease out telltale explanation(s)
only thru courtesy 20/20 hindsight
can hypothesis be formulated
regarding congenital
chromosomal cellular discrepancy
birthing what appeared a healthy baby
though prone to wailing
without rhyme nor reason,
especially if held
by any person except mother.
At a tender age behavioral blitzkrieg
rent asunder tenuous connections
shattering nascent aggregation
to allow, enable, and provide
healthy interpersonal development
unbeknownst what molecular processes
kickstarted, pronounced, triggered...
wayward son to recoil against humanity
(think how like magnetic poles
repel each other).
Most all mein kampf
scant communication brokered
never establishing linkedin bonds,
nor fostering emotional intimacy
despite witnessing overt caring
among parents who begat me
or siblings, who exuded
natural propensity to comfort each other.
Something so primal as to elicit
heartfelt sympathy I lacked
which aloofness generated offensiveness
essentially buttressed (with flying colors)
hermetically sealed existence (mine)

Most of us should know that the fourth Thursday,
is called a Thanksgiving Day celebration.
The first Tuesday after the first Monday,
we elect the leaders of our nation.
Maybe you even know the first Sunday,
is when Daylight Savings comes to an end.
But did you know on November the first,
National Pomegranate Month begins.
Also, Native Heritage and Military Family Month,
Epilepsy, Alzheimer’s, and COPD awareness.
How about NAN-O-WRI-MO or Pancreatic Cancer too,
we’ll throw in No Shave November just for fairness.
The first Wednesday is Eating Healthy Day,
the first Thursday is Man Makes Dinner.
The first Friday is Samoan Arbor Day,
and of course, Black Friday is always a winner.
Who can forget World Vegan Day,
or Coronation Day of the fifth Druk in Bhutan.
It’s Liberty Day in the Virgin Islands,
Self-Defense Forces Commemoration in Japan.
It is Veterans Day on the eleventh,
Pneumonia Day on the twelve.
Parfait day on the twenty-fifth,
if you don’t care about your health.
I could just go on and on listing them,
but just between me and you.
We’d still be here reading next November,
and we probably still would not be through.

Charma
And the Word became flesh,
And among us dwelt.
Just as then,everything is done
to not make our hearts melt.
We adore phony creatures that
will never save us.
God's Son has been replaced by
a reindeer with a red nose.
On Jesus, oh no! On Him the
door we happily close.
For we humans believe we know
more than God.
Of Scripture, we snicker avoid like
not so innocent clods!
We wonder and fret, why the world
gets stranger!
Perhaps it is to silence the cries from
the manger?
I hope you find the true reason for
December the twenty-fifth.
And stop adoring store-created
creatures that are only a myth!
Innocent, perhaps, or as cute as
they maybe,
Neither, elves, Rudolph nor Santa
will being us to eternity.
The churches are locked the night
the child of God is born?
For this poetess, it makes my sad
heart mourn!
Presents will be opened with great
joy and glee.
Rare, so rare, is the mention of God's
Son, who came to earth for Thee!
Prayers before dinners are rushed
through at best.
In a big hurry to stuff our faces with
a bountiful food fest.
We put out cookies and milk, telling our
children to "believe!"
In elves, a deer and an very obese
man with red sleeves?
How many homes at least have
a manger?
Very scarce is this seen, we prefer a
world filled with atheism, arrogance and
danger.
Take a good look at all the freedoms
you have lost,
And still, you don't understand, it's
all about giving up God at cost!
I wish this message reaches just
one!
And am fearless to bless you with the
forbidden greeting, "Merry Christmas"~
on this birth of God's only Son!
~~Merry Christmas~~

CIPROFLOXACIN HCL 500 MG remedied urinary tract infection
No aversion nor embarrassment
admitting, divulging, and jumpstarting
poetic endeavor regarding yours truly
afflicted, blighted, and contracted
with urinary tract infection,
(though condition finds me
feeling pissed off),
whereby urination fraught with
painful burning, gouging,
and stinging sensation.
Aside from the aforementioned ailment
practically, nearly, nay already cured,
after taking bad medicine, I feel great,
but recognize necessity
to take full course
of poetically issued, incorporated,
and identified antibiotic
despite feeling more drowsy than usual.
Impossible mission scrambling,
rummaging, and traversing
complex edifice housing
nooks and crannies pinpointing
how I, albeit married (libido
long since took kamikaze nosedive -
most likely adverse side effect
courtesy countless medications
prescribed to alleviate the bane
of social anxiety, obsessive
compulsive disorder, palmar hyperhidrosis,
et alia) though celibate
became subjected to micturate
experienced problematic discharge
to take a wizz with difficulty and discomfort.
The miracle of modern medicine
(actually corroboration of many
intelligent people such as biochemists,
biomedical engineer, pharmaceutical scientists,
et cetera) nips in figurative bud
ailments of body, mind and spirit
without which yours truly
among untold other individuals
would be unable to function
close to their optimal level as possible.
Though long since averse
to the crass commercialization
of most holidays in general,
and Christmas in particular;
eons ago boyhood found me
unbounded, unrestrained, untethered,
et cetera with bounteous excitement
when December twenty fifth
approached then finally arrived
whereat I knew full well
bearer of various and sundry gifts
linkedin with mother reminding father
in quasi cryptic words scotch tape
and newspaper in such and such place.
At ripe old age
of three score plus three
orbitz around the nearest star
considerably less enthusiasm gushes forth
at clamoring to purchase
and/or receive presents,
but rather anonymous
zoological primate here
within apartment b44
simply wanted a hippopotamus
to appease the hidebound grinch.
A very Merry Merry very Christmas indeed
A very Merry Merry very Christmas indeed
On December the twenty fifth I hope you get all you wish
A very Merry Merry very Christmas indeed
Don't shake the gifts, don't squeeze the prize
no fair peeking on what's inside
A very Merry Merry very Christmas indeed
Jolly by golly for both you and me
Don't spike the eggnog there's children around
Whoops it seems beneath the mistletoe I found
A very Merry Merry very Christmas indeed
Jolly by golly for you and for me
A Christmas goose and a bottle of sherry
tonight my sweet we all will be Merry
A very Merry Merry very Christmas indeed
Jolly by golly for you and for me
Play the piano sing the carols
laugh and smile today were all holiday pals
for it is a very Merry Merry very Christmas...Indeed!!!
Merry Christmas everyone!
The Lord loves you!
My Brother
Today is our twenty-fifth birthday, Dear Brother!
We were like-twins born on same date
Fifteen minutes apart
Who knew, you could leave me all on a sudden, Last Year!
By appearance we were alike, but opposite in nature
You were strong, energetic: Me weak, lethargic.
You! Always engaged being busy
Me! Preferred to lie down, being lazy.
In school, playground, everywhere, you acted as my protector
I was pampered by parents.
You took blame covering my fault.
I was all along indebted to you,
but got no scope to repay, only to admit gratitude.
Both of us were attacked by Meningitis.
Weak one survived, strong brother passed away.
Cruel Nature has done unforgivable injustice.
We were entwined for twenty- four years.
Timid backward brother left behind to shed tears!
Now I am a lone fighter in struggle of life,
only to put a posy of flower on your grave!
My Idol! My Brother! Bold and brave.
Since childhood I put my head on your shoulder.
My volunteered guardian! Fifteen minutes older.
My Dearest Brother
