All of you Parrotheads covered with oil
And feathers, and signs, and pins
— Jimmy Buffett (Margaritaville)
COCONUTS
Coconuts are bosom buddies
for some Parrotheads. The
twin cups (A, B, C, Double D)
pair up nicely with a grass skirt.
Margaritaville twines with
party swines. (if your in Oahu)
Coconuts can’t be breached
by hand. Skewer two,
for me and my love,
and slide in a straw.
Don’t let coconuts fall.
They can knock you out,
or revive your senses.
Especially true, when
your surrounded by
an army of ‘nuts,
on a tropical isle.
Drink them in! Palm trees
swaying, danger lurking,
especially on Gilligan’s Island.
I confess, I’m crazy
for coconuts. Don’t get me started
with coconut - cocktails, or flakes,
or shakes, on cake…
Give me the hardy breed that thrives in the arid wild
The tougher kind that walks with a sure unfaltering stride,
The restless heart that without fear the mountains roams;
Not the sissy softer variety that favors the mushy loams.
I need those manly swines with sun-burned sinew
Not the convenience-seeking boys stained with dew,
I reward the uncertain gambling of the wandering type
Not the sure stocks invested with opportunistic hype.
I have been here for years but a generation comes and goes
And yet some think they can predict me with their fake laws,
I read the speculative greed of fellows from a safe mile away
For my expansive experience spans a million years and a day.
I pick a man of valor from the faking crowds,
In his quiet among the city’s clambering sounds;
None can ever cheat my heart-scanning eye that sees
Beyond the snow-capped peaks and the roaring seas.
And my ears are ever un-waxed to listen
To the crackling labors of any gifted pen
That scribbles this account of my fickle nature
So men may know the traits that give me pleasure.
The lines have been drawn
The battle commenced
Each voter a pawn
Each party seems tensed.
They’ve argued the topics
All blurred the same lines
We muse on our prophets
Determine our swines.
Does one vote for their country?
Or just seek our own gain
Chasing lollies quite bluntly
Causing decades of drain.
You know no sweeties from strangers
Could ever end well
But in spite of the dangers
You’re tempted to kiss and not tell.
You’ve tried to do study
Policies, farming, and crime
Snatched beliefs from some buddies
Hell research on Facebook saves time.
Days to polling have dwindled
There’s claims of rich serving up poo
Yet when the economy’s swindled
Shucks, we’d work for a tranny named Sue.
Oh how the experts do surface
Daily their ranks seem to swell
Poems and posing’s are posted
It’s social media hell.
There’s calls for compassion
Never an end to the queue
Yet when they dole out the rations
It’s from my plate to you.
So we each vote for our promise
Mine? Well it really means well
To be frank and quite honest
I hope the reds go to hell.
When mapping something out
It should be a subject thought about
Beginning, middle and the finale
Everything is there says Rand McNally
But from the depths below
A mystery creating ocean wakes to flow
An island emerges from the deep
Treasures on it adventure seekers want to keep
Floating along on it minding their own business
Dirty scoundrels escaping from illegal missions
Then they see this uncharted land
A surprise in a disappearing honest scam
“Land ho!” Was heard from above
An enchanting world the crew fell in love
“Do you know the date?
My dear mate”
Flipping through the calendar an answer was assured
Summer was ready to take the floor
Headed out on this dangerous chore
This crooked crew wanted to know more
An hour later docked on the beach
Beautiful and scenic around them well in reach
It only took a few seconds
Encountering locals doing some checking
“We came from the South”
Natives stated opening their mouths
“It is warm up here
Still relaxing with our autumnal cheer”
Feeling a little confused
And being amused
Which direction they were going
Weather was doing the rowing
“From the north
To see if there is any worth
Was our destination
Hope you believe our presentation
Left when it was cold
But soon winter was getting ready to pack and fold”
Laughing at the circumstance
Giving the visitors a listening chance
“Winter has arrived
Our new friends gave it a ride!”
They shouted the news
Welcoming the Europeans who were accused
“You are now down under
A mysterious wonder
Nowhere in sight
Is there a royal and a knight
To take off a head
Claiming a societal debt”
Taking their time
These free swines
Observed the landscape
Concluding its great
“Happy winter solstice to you all”
Was the tourist’s call
Educated in manipulating the commoner’s law
“Would you like to see Harrold’s boutique inside the mall?”
Questioned the hosts stiffening their upper jaw
“Come join us
We can take the double decker bus”
In the end
Sailors took up the pen
Wrote home
Stating ‘we are not alone
Will use the phone
To pay off our expedition loan
Plan finding things buried in antique chest
Containing your jewels I must confess”
You've ignited a fire beyond what you know,
my smooth hand glides providing the flow,
striking lightening that makes the mind blow,
you stole my rhymes and put them on show.
I followed the trail and look where it led,
a place full of those that are dead in the head.
I've had it with low lifes where plagiarism thrives,
you steal, you lie, and you will not survive!
Taking these rhymes of mine,
multiple times you swines,
disgraceful faces with empty brain spaces,
you have no place in the human race.
Posting all about the inspiration you taste,
you're nothing more than human waste.
Everytime I find what you've took,
I look to see what is the prize?
What do you get for these crimes?
You just get attention and praise,
what a sad way to live happy days.
Soaking up the limelight
making out you rhyme tight,
acting like you've got groove
while your reputation improves,
right up to the day that it falls through,
suddenly out of the blue I'm coming for you.
I will do to you whatever I choose,
I'll steal your laces make you a noose,
I wont give you time to say your excuse.
That poem you posted, remember who wrote it,
be aware of the fact you're poking a poet,
I'll write rhymes about you
I'll make jokes that are true,
exposing the truth with a hoof to the tooth,
the roast of the doofus stupendously useless.
You cannot match my catchy raps
so you best not try to snatch from my patch,
not any of my pieces with their sweet releases.
You live down on your knees
with your ear to ear breeze,
I rhyme with ease,
you've just climbed out the trees.
Remember that reputations will rise and will fall,
at the end is humiliation and you will feel like a fool,
so be wise, don't plagiarise and live a life of lies,
it'll steal your happiness,
and it will kill your pride.
Be wise, do not plagiarise.
(........ what you gonna do when I come for you?
plagiarise, plagiarise,
what you gonna do?
What you gonna do when I come for you?
Played your eyes, played your eyes,
what you gona do?
What you gonna do when I come for you?)

Getting through endeavors
Doing better
More focus on what is important instead of only pursuing pleasure
Even though ladies never give me the time of day
Like animals, I'm a stray
Just could not find my way
Deep down quite okay
I tell the truth, so it won't always be nice things I say
So much wrong in the world, no person should have been treated like a slave
Still today too many lives at stake
Jeopardizing people acting nice then snake
Regardless if they're asleep or wide awake
It's continuous occurring on since before the iron age
Is there any way to make the cycle change?
I have tried
24/7 at times
Took one step then hit landmines
Followed by a swarm of sand flies
I thought my heart had died
Because I flatlined
Now I just want love no bad vibes
It's what I always wanted, but I know that it's about damn time
If you let it too much toxic stuff can slide
I apologize if my mind is a bit hazy
Life get's crazy
I'm starting to like this lady
She thinks I'm similar to Slim Shady
Of our origin we still can't find a trace
Wake up we don't truly know if we evolved from primates
All these swines and fakes
These schmucks keep secrets and humans in a confined space
Had nothing to lose, then it turned high stakes
For too long was not in a nice place
Now got a better mind state
I still overdrink, and don't always hydrate
Like wild animals, I need to migrate
Much to achieve, so why wait?
Worldwide not just across five states
All this senseless violence and blind hate
I have improved
Back in the groove
Not the same old outlook and attitude
Working on making less bad moves
Despite being a lonely sad dude
I know that there is so much that I can do
And that that's true
A lot of bad luck
Instead of not giving a damn
In order to get through all the sad stuff
I had to become smarter work harder and man up
Making a splish splash
During the daylight or when it was pitch black
Often I'd give back
Having a profound impact
Occasionally I'll pop a tic-tac
Fiddle with knick-knacks
While at times in life it can get whack
Occasionally coming with whiplash
These clowns sweeter than a Kit-Kat
In a world full of endless chit-chat
Always over this and that
Despite speaking on it like it's a fact
Standing in line, I saw you over there.
Purchasing your ticket to the "Lust County Fair."
Your lips were locking at the County kissing booth..
Looking more like "exchanging of the tongues" than just a smooch.
On the ferris wheel, your hands where all over her.
You could be "her father" you old ugly buzzard.
In the "petting farm", I see your fittin' right in..
Amongst the other swines and swindlers bathing in their sins.
I hope you feel justified with your so-called young date.
I would not give you the time of day even with a "mail in rebate!"
You came over, pounding and kicking away at my door.
Seething with anger, no rain checks this time bud; it's over!
If I were to find my lost gem
cast among the filth of the swines
I would not hesitate
I would gather it into my trembling hands
with a gratitude too deep for words.
I would wash away the dust of exile,
polish it with tears and reverence,
and if fire were required,
I would not withhold it:
for even flame, in its mercy,
only restores what was alway precious.
But tell me,
how does one gather what death has claimed?
How do you cleanse what has been carried
beyond the reach of hands,
beyond the language of return?
For death . . .
has not merely taken,
It has silence a brilliance,
silenced a light,
hidden a treasure where love cannot follow in flesh.
And so we stand, empty-handed,
not because we would not restore;
but because this gem
has been lifted from our keeping
Into eternity's vault.
Indeed . . .
death has robbed us,
not of something ordinary,
but of a jewel heaven itself desired.
Till the resurrection morning,
when our loving Father will wipe every tear
and call forth His own
What a delightful moment, will that be?
I’d like too invite all to be my guest
a dine of mindfulness and rhyme digest
a week of conflict now victory blessed
standing united to silence a pest
Since the last time you heard from me I was banned again
ran my mouth and pen and stand condemned
taking a time out as the site suspended
yet always polite to poets I’ve befriended
In my lifetime of few consistences
a sucker for trouble
not designed for resistance
never stuck in a bubble
don’t run nor crumble
my back’s up I stand tall
I’m one for the rumble
not decided but natural
I’m an alpha with a non fictional reaction
I can’t stray from friction I give it back to ‘em
They flint
I flame
retardants
don’t reign
Even with intense insistence I’m risky
back and forth witty hits get me frisky
I’m Jack Daniels confrontation’s whiskey
and as it ascends force
whistling me wolf
I submit my thoughts
with all above board
but as the war gets me bored
within my core recycled and restored
enemy amo pours out below par
firing missiles I go to far
through lost remorse
this one track horse
gallops the course
with overwhelming force
only to fail care and I fall where I fell before
Standing up squarely
Cus nobody scares me
then punished unfairly
cus I ain’t no fairy
Deemed out of line
as I mouth my mind
blow for blow with swines
or write down rhymes
I’ve got one finger for sign language
knowing 5 fold in flight damage
You’re not the first to run me down
I’m not one to get the boys around
“I know a lot of people” not my threat
get me vexed I come direct
Others rely on their made up crew
not me though mate I come straight for you
One minute you’re coming calling me chump
the next minute running Forest Gump
I’ve never experienced intimidated slumps
the altercation ignition leads me to jump
start the motor ticks, over being a victim
insults thrown deflect don’t sink in
get thrown back with hurt inflicting
stand his ground does Nick Trim
Will call us HMS Victory and him the birds eye on a French deck,
one cannon ball later he’s drenched in a shipwreck
So thanks to the soupers standing with me,
the victory with us not he,
again I say soupers standing with me
are the ones standing victoriously
MY KING:
Upon Jehovah have I fixed my eyes.
The waves of the sea,
The creatures in the skies,
The vegetation and beasts,
Same do the mountains up above.
Adorations do the entire universe sing;
The name Jehovah's glorified at all times.
At His presence I'm clinged to His feet,
And from ages He's always at my side.
In His hands my heart blissfully beats,
As He's always keeping me alive.
Anytime I commit wrong deeds,
In His mercies and grace do I hide.
Picked me up from the deadly street,
And changed the chronicles of my life.
He cuddles and empowers me,
Because He never let me feel contrite.
He soothes me with his breeze;
Making me grow to the higher height.
Never disregards nor forsakes me,
In his secrecy do I abide.
Time past darkness didn't let me see,
But now His divine power keeps me in His light.
Sin kept me captive but I'm now free;
No more lost sheep among demonised swines,
Saved by Christ's death on the tree.
Shedding His blood was more benign,
I'm a new creation, Jehovah's breed.
Holy Spirit in me, my life's so fine,
So therefore my soul dwells in peace.
Will forever serve him even when I die.
He's the King of Kings and forever will He be;
His rulership is undoubtedly divine,
And He's excellent in gree.
