People need to know, that freedom isn’t free,
there are those who gave their life, for you and me.
Many come back wounded, they’ll never be the same,
if we don’t stand up to help them, we should sit in shame.
The things they had to go through, the things they now, must endure,
freedom isn’t free, this we see for sure.
If we’d put ourselves in their place, try and walk a mile or two,
we’d listen to our hearts, when the truth comes shining through.
They paid that price, their life for our freedom, you see,
many come back forever disabled, cause freedom isn’t free.
Be a grateful supporter, it’s our time to pay the cost,
as we live our lives, theirs they have lost.
They shouldn’t need for anything, they payed the price you see,
isn’t it our time to pay the price for them, cause freedom isn’t free.
It is unfathomable, I say.
Chance, the village repeater, says, “UnFAM-IT-BLE!” and smiles at me.
Louder than I was, but with more feeling.
I cringe, pre-seeing how this village meeting might unfold.
“Incomprehensible!” I announce, watching for eye movements.
An avid proponent of psttacism, Chance yells,”com-Rad-Visible!”
“Which means?” I ask him. He shrugs, flashing a mouth full of teeth, except one.
“It is unconscionable!” I holler, wondering what he will do with this.
“YEAH!” he says, giving a fist pump.
I grin, seeing fist bump go swiftly into two thumbs up.
Chance is my biggest supporter, and coincidentally, the only
Villager who has attended my maybe-not-so-well-advertised press conference.
The reporter from Nothing-town says “Anything else?”
I shake my head, and thank him for coming.
“News was slow in No-town,” he replied. “No big deal.”
“Will we be on the news?” Chance asks.
He shakes his head. “Depends on whether or not my boss cares about
Opossum neutering,” he says. “It is hard to tell.”
Besties now, I invite Chance to lunch.
He is my biggest supporter, after all.
My favorite supporter.
The gift of psttacism was a happy unexpected bonus.
We both received postcards for years from people
Who could not stop laughing at us.
In this season of fears, Please shed no tears.
God is your balm, so just be calm.
In this hour of your need, sow some seed.
No matter your fears my mate, have some faith.
One thing is sure,
you haven't come this far alone,
definitely you are not on your own.
The Thing is you've got a great supporter,
he's got the keys to all portals.
Don't give in to those feelings,
drop them,you are overcoming.
Feelings can be tamed,
Yea,tamed and shamed.
So no matter your fears,
shed no tears.
Trust me dear winner,
You are an overcomer.
Stop whimpering,
get up and get flying.
Fly on the wings of God's favor and grace,
Relax, He's got your back!
They left before the end
The game is not for over
They had to leave the field
I’ve grown up,
Growing up to the graveyard tomb
I’ve watched,
Watching many won and defeated teams
No; never I supported this team,
Still not supporting for the five won world cup
This is yellow jersey
As like the blooming sunflower at rising sun
Ever active untamable
Irresistible, indomitable
I didn’t lose
We, the supporters, didn’t lose
Brazil, A Seleção, didn’t lose
The group of rhythmic samba dance didn’t lose
It is an evanescent suffering
It is a dewy passion on the desert
Everything will come back very soon
Just recovered health the football king
I support this team, am supporter
Because, it’s a natural source of soccer
We watched- Pele, Garrincha, Romario, Zico,
Rivaldo, Phenomenon Ronaldo, Ronadinho
Watched their metrical composition of feet
In field they offered peerless football treat
Cafu, Kaká, Carlos, Robinho, Bebeto with them many more
We never forget their world class charismatic game sure
O Neymar, Silva, Kutinho, Martinelli, Vinicius
Play, play and play; give us back your best cruise
Don’t break down; we are with you always
Prepare for the Next World Cup in Ca-Me-US
Long live Brazilian National Football Team
Long live the ever rhythmic game stream

Everytime I gave you my all
But you weren’t there when I took a fall
When I would tell you how much I care
I needed you, but you weren’t there
When I would go out of my way for you
It was because you needed me, but I needed you too
When I needed to be at my happy place
You’d say I’m taking up too much of your space
When I would always comfort you
It was because you needed me, but I needed you too
When things in your life were really tough
When everything just seemed too much
I’d say the right things and I’d really come through
Because you needed me, though I needed you too
When no one understood you or even cared
I’d find new ways to always be there
I wasn’t just a girlfriend, a supporter and comforter too
I needed you too, but instead I was there for you
When you couldn’t say how you feel about me
I’d never fail to be the best girlfriend I could be
Yes I often needed you, but you always failed to see
That I needed you just like you needed me
When how bad your day was you would tell
I listened, but you didn’t ask did my day go well
I listened, because you needed me to
Forgetting that I needed you
When you wouldn't care
The next day I’d still be there
Sometimes I’d shout “Can’t he just see”
“Just how much he is hurting me”
Sometimes I needed you to show me just a little love
A small gesture to me would be enough
But if it wasn’t about you
You simply forgot that I needed you too
I couldn’t fight so hard no more
And so I had to close this door
When you look back on everything and wonder what to do
Just remember when you needed me, I often needed you too

At the edge of twilight's embrace, I found myself anew
Under the caress of an ancient wind, whispering forgotten echoes
I soared on the wings of a dreamt desire, chasing the phantom light
Climbing a staircase woven from stars and shadows
Reaching the zenith, a summit kissed by ephemeral fire
And then, the fall - a spiraled descent into the chasm of my own void.
I shattered, a constellation of lost pieces,
Fragments of a soul drifting in the black ocean of night
With scars etched deep into my being,
Loosened bolts, a structure unmade by illusion,
Horror gripped my heart as I realized what was missing,
A vital shard, a key to fit into the grand tapestry of life.
In the delirium of youth, I chased faces, not hearts
I danced to the frenetic rhythm of fleeting desires,
I sought to fill the ever-gaping void in my chest
A cavern so vast, echoing with my silent agony,
Yet no mirage could bring solace to the emptiness within.
But as the years rolled by and wisdom kissed my brow
Now, I can truly claim knowledge of love,
It is not a wild fire, burning bright and fast,
But a gentle, enduring flame that glows warmly,
A fortress and a shelter, my foundation, my cause,
It wraps me in its embrace and carries me through life’s storms.
True love does not chase the ephemeral glimmers
It does not lose itself in the rapid dance of lust,
But nurtures the growth of two intertwined souls
It provides space, breathing dreams into reality,
Opening doors hidden deep within our spirits.
This love, oh how I've come to crave it,
For it has meticulously sewn all my wounds,
Golden threads of understanding,
And now I see the folly of puppy love,
Merely a facade for social adulation,
A masquerade of glamour, igniting the fire of envy.
True love whispers in the quiet,
Revealing its depth behind closed doors,
Naked, raw, an unmasked flame,
When it matures, it becomes the silent supporter,
The shadow that propels you forward, unseen but always felt.
Now, with every beat of my heart,
I understand the essence of an eternal love,
More than mere adornment or spectacle,
It is the mystical light in my life,
And in the profound silence of remembrance,
This love remains, an eternal flame.
WHAT ADDICTION IS
Addiction, a brain disease, the inability to control
use of a substance, like nicotine, drugs, alcohol.
It can also be a behavioral problem, like gambling,
eating, sex, kleptomania, shopping, working.
Addiction takes over one’s self-control causing
psychological and physical harm by continuously using
the substance or indulging in addictive behavior, ruining
lives, families, relationships, careers for neglecting
health, family, friends, work and other responsibilities
in exchange for feelings of lift, physically high or lofty.
Addiction can also be caused by the environment,
like growing up with smoking, drinking or using parents,
or the cultural norms of the society or group where
one lives or exposure to peer group pressure anywhere.
I will never really know the mind of an addict.
All I could do was researched how the addict
feels and neglects everything and to understand
and cope with an addict or how to take my stand
in living with an alcoholic and be a supporter
to kick the addiction and not be an enabler.
Living with an addict is hard, difficult, tough, strenuous.
There is uncertainty, unpredictability, life is precarious.
It’s like living a double life, one day everything is fine,
then everything is like walking in a very fine line.
Life is a vicious cycle, there is normalcy when sober
for being responsible, reliable and good mannered
and then the slip or binging comes affecting judgments;
neglecting family, work, commitments; being overindulgent
with the substance that can lead to financial difficulty
if under the influence or in possession, as well as legally.
Addiction can be prevented, treated and managed.
Do not let addiction ruin, ravage, wreck or damage
your life, your career, your relationship or your family.
Consider treatments that can help tremendously.
You are not the only one affected by your addiction,
for the ones, who love you suffer from your affliction.

Life is comparable
To a sports event in a game;
Like a race, it has both
A beginning and an end.
Similar to an athletic match,
Rules are observed by each player;
All are required with certain codes
Of conduct and behavior.
It closely resembles
A championship bout;
Protagonists aim at a precious prize
By fierce fight, going all out.
While the will to win
In their hearts does dwell;
Many yet fall short of even
Getting close to the jewel.
As in the case of a race,
Some runners stumble;
They even miserably fail
To make it to the golden goal.
Those who get dog-tired
Would withdraw rather;
Caring neither ignominy nor pain
They bring on each supporter.
Losers readily concede,
Thinking they did their best;
They reason not the win or loss
But how they played matters.
In life, we're not mere spectators
But are the playing athletes;
Aiming at the glorious reward
At the end of the race.
While there are similarities,
There are also differences;
The fight isn't between runners and us,
But between us and the evil forces.
We cannot afford to lose
In this crucial contest with evil;
Neither can we choose to retreat
From the spiritual big battle.
Struggle toward the finish line,
For there is no graceful exit;
Amid the din and the pains,
We cannot give up and quit.
We ought to shake off the burden
Of sins right in our face;
Run freely with determination,
Let us finish the race.
There once was a frog who found it difficult being green
I asked the frog “what do you mean?”
The frog seemed wanting to talk
While chewing on a delicious happy hour stalk
“It’s silver and black,
They raid things and that is a fact.”
I noted to the frog, “They have a new home,
In a social tourist area where you never really feel alone
Names like Trump and Wynn are on separate sides of the street
With all sorts of luring fixtures offered as a treat.”
“I heard about that,” the green gribbit stated
As I waited
“We are green and we soar, we take flight to show our might!”
I suggested
This simple message
“Go and travel and pound on that artistic gavel.”
“That is right,” the frog said striking down a bug looking for a fight.
“We are green and we have a dream
That is our white and we are ready with freedom and oil
And a supporter base that is insanely loyal.
Remind Allegiant Air they are one of us
While silver and black are transported on the RTC bus.
Chop Chop from this green pad to the bachelor’s one reserved for the Sunday’s peaceful gaming fun.”

And if we Win that Semi- Final ?
A date with destiny awaits
A place in the 2018 Football World Cup
And a chance to fulfill a life long Dream
Even the most fervent English Supporter
Would scarcely have thought possible
England World Cup Winners
Russia 2018
Dare we even Dream ??
But we have just progressed from the last 16
To the Final 8
Our very own piece of History awaits
And I am not a Player
Merely a Fan
Imagine what it must be like ?
Being a 1 of the Players rather than just a Bit Part
They could never kick another Ball again
And it wouldn't even matter
As they would be living Gods
From hence forth
And ever after
Come on England
Fulfill a Countries Dreams and Hope's
