in dogmatic stillness, since uncle died
he's been traversing the phantom dimensions
from endless skyscrapers to artic edges
through hailstorms of indignation
but then he met the pondering moor king
lost in abstractions of his cane castle
and blocked his everlasting glance for good
it was then, when mist(er)y girl showed up
eerie and blossomless, just like anathema
and took the hillside rambler by the hand
astonished spectators watched the lovesick couple
as they descended to the subway of hollow earth
crowded and restless, markedly hectic
everyone thought it's just a plain buffoonery
but no one could break the mundane restrictions
and all once for disrobe that badly sewn uniforms
then, the catastrophe - cyclonic catharsis
earthquake caused by the centipede march
sent the ones with fiery hearts down the drain
likewise the tin soldier and little Lady
and sentenced them to be lone again

Loud guttural roar filled Steamboat Convention Hall
Stovetop hats rose up higher, and most were already tall.
The tiger made his entry with a loud snarl and a pounce.
Watch out! Someone yelled. I think this creature can bounce.
We ran out of the way, as fast as heavily-dressed convention goers can.
Tiger made a bounding leap and soon was shaking a trembling old man.
Don’t eat him! A girl in a pretty petticoat with a corset yelled out.
He gulped him down, after shaking him up, down and all about.
We did not see any blood, for the tiger ate every drop that he could.
I was running as fast as my legs would on this double treated oak wood.
The tiger was gaining on me, I could feel his breath on my neck.
I fell out of bed before I was eaten and I said “What the heck?”
Enchanted Voyage
Aboard the Magnolia paddle steamboat
Bound down the Mississippi River
Carrying its precious cargo
Daring anyone for a challenge on her beauty and speed
Enchantment captivates guests of its breathtaking beauty a
Fortune spent to showcase and entertain in its
Grand elegant saloon with carved gilded mirrors
Hanging far above glimmering crystal chandeliers with flickering candle flames
Illuminating dramatic sparkling rainbow colors
Jump and dance with the excitement of the room
Keeping my place longing to melt into the
Laughter of the guest I listen to
Music that plays and sings its melody to the
Night’s mysterious shimmering sky
Obtaining consolation with
Paced movement sounds of the paddle wheel that lulls me into serenity
Quietly meandering slowly coursing down the muddy banks of the Mississippi River
Riding down to its adjacent towns
Savoring the faint breeze scents of the warm night air
Teasing the romantic scenes
Unique moonlight reflecting shadows cast by hanging limbs
Vulnerable to the rendering of the imagination
Whimsical Xebec shape illusion mysterious
Xenomorphic behavior
Yearning for a never ending voyage ride
Zest only of pleasure

xenomorphic - having a form not its own
in an unusual form; having a strange form.

Brings back aromatic, delicious yesterdays.
Our San Francisco les journeees!
Of winding streets and moonlit sweaty-love
soaked sheets.
North Beach, homemade Italian fresh baked
bread and cheese.
Our favorite, Osso Bucco, when we were in the
mood.
In our shining, blessed, Marina neighborhood.
Days we stood on the historic Eureka ferry.
The wooden steamboat, on which we planned
to marry.
Days of poetry of Kerouac and Ginsberg.
And admiring 'The City's,' stonework.
Walking up and down blessed hills.
I close my eyes, now reliving it all at will.
Ah, those intimate poetry nights, just for us two.
And that is exactly when melodious foghorns blew!
And on our memorable garden roof,
the Golden Gate Bridge in full view.
At night, it glowed with amber hue,
Lit for us, Mon Amour!
Years have mystically slipped away.
But you and I are forever-lovers
in celestial, star blessed play
Love's memories do linger close.
Forever us, my moonlit, memory's
most fragrant rose!
"The Eureka"
Poet's Notes
The EUREKA is the largest
wooden paddle steamboat in
the world.
It once ferried commuters.
It is a historic landmark now
based at the Hyde Street Pier
in San Francisco.
This is the ship I was to be
married on. The inside is so
beautiful!
Images of the Eureka are
online, FYI.
Thank you, Panagiota

Kansas City. Barbeque beef. Black power and white power working alongside Power and Light.
Sprint Center, Royals Stadium, many small towns, Crown Center, Fritz train deliveries, a real delight.
Aquarium, Union Station, Lego-land, fountains too beautiful to see all at one setting.
Street car, Steamboat Museum, culture as far as the eyes care to see, a real vetting.
Moving here? Come visit first. Sample our cuisine and head toward First Friday in the bottoms.
If we are not friendly something is wrong, visit summer, spring, or come experience our autumns.
A small town feeling in most of our suburbs, and an eclectic mix of personalities,
We are tearing it up, a mess in a good way, and open to new foreign ideas, so come if you please.
Many spent all their lives in cities and towns
so toxic with smoke and smog,
and surprisingly all they do indeed
is take walk a short distance with their dog;
then go hone and watch television for hours,
not a bit interested to travel across their land...
Go across America by car, or by train,
don't board on an airplane,
and discover the many wonders never seen;
behold the breath-taking landscapes
stretching out to the horizons
that erupt in dazzling colors...
See America aboard a steamboat,
gliding up or down the Mississipi River,
and the people on both blanks
will wave the America Flag as you pass;
the deep south is friendlier than you think,
as they would greet you with a flower...
Go across America with a patriotic will.
so did the early pioneers fighting off every storm,
to find their lot on a lonely, barren hill
and built that wooden shack and called it home:
and with a faith that only Moses could posses,
they, too, were led by that divine hand...
Stop before the Canyons with their astonishing silence
