Stands up when He whispers in your ear
Falling down year after tear
Waiting in line till it's your turn
Being shown the door and the shade burns
He rides you and the whip flails
The widow waits each month for the check in the mail
The whisper remembers as the tree sheds each Fall
Will he see his shadow, will he see what he saw
Stands alone does the spring crocus
She waits for the Sun
And Mother spins and spins
She waits as the Robin for the peck of her egg
Dying as the bullet shreds his memory of the flag
Stands for the widow as his breath sags
The politician wears full armor as he speaks at the mic
Stand up ,vote and the reward helps to see the light
And the years go by and the body starts to lean
The wrinkles round the bend and pick up steam
To stand tall when all say you're wrong
The last bar closes with the last song
The rose is killed as she stands
Trash strewn and the wind
The Sun goes dark and a single tear
And He whispers goodnight

Hold a revered status globally.
Strength only shines through when the glow appears.
unfolding behind them.
I sought out darkness.
I searched everywhere but found none.
I peered into my heart,
discovered the largest one.
Gently, my heart beats.
The future unfolds predictably.
Sailors had many vessels for water.
Fruits won't appear through force.
Explore all available books.
Wisdom is gained, not conferred.
Insight for the enlightened.
Four letters embody love.
We set out from our homes.
Our heads were shrouded with dust.
We bravely dodge forward.
grasping our lives in our hands.
Within our mortal gathering
existence is but a visitor,
A deep longing drives us.
to achieve sacrifices.
Youths pursue success with enthusiasm.
wielding blades to achieve their aims.
The process exacts a bloody toll.
but the stars shine on those
who demonstrate their love.
and pitch their place in history.
through daring and sacrifice.
The ego within forced me to resist.
But now I wish I had effused a love mist.
With aplomb and flair, I left it there.
For self-aware souls passing by who opt to pair.
I was so afraid of being seen.
Of being judged, of being keen,
I hid my true self away.
And let my ego have its say.
Now I realize, I am worthy of love,
including yours.
I am flawless just the way I am.
and I am ready to stand up for myself.
I'm letting fade of my ego.
And letting love flow
And I'm ready to be unfurled.
I'm Opening my heart to the world.
You've seen good days....
You've seen bad days.
You've had times where you wanted to give in.
But when your good days outweigh the bad ones,
What is there to complain about?
You've had nights where you cried,
Because you felt you didn't give your best.
Well, weeping may endure for a night....
I think you all know the rest.
When you've made it through,
Even with all the fear and doubt,
You've got to ask yourself,
What is there to complain about?
Every ain't gonna be perfect,
You're gonna have ups and downs,
Smiles and frowns,
But keep on pressing,
And stay away from stressing,
Cause it can get pretty depressing.
Stand up tall,
When your back's against the wall,
And ask yourself with a loud shout,
What is there to complain about?
When your good days outweigh the bad days,
Don't stress and strain,
Don't cry and whine,
Don't mope or complain.
Life is too short,
To be holding onto the past,
To ponder on relationships,
That you knew wouldn't last.
It's too short to fuss and fight,
And to short to be mad and upset,
Which is why it is important to pray,
And live a life with no regret.
Knowing....
Your days aren't gonna be all sunshine,
You're gonna have some days of pain, no doubt.
But as long as you know you're alive and kicking,
What is there to complain about?
You have a lot to live for, kid.
Your road is just beginning,
You're gonna experience losing,
You're gonna experience winning.
You've got a lot to be grateful for,
So what are you being so hateful for?
If you're alive and well,
With a story to tell,
And you've experienced pain,
And lived life with no doubts,
You should be asking yourself....
What is there to complain about?
I know you both
Want and so too should wish
To expect a response
From all the other people
Apart from yourself
Even if that response be
The merest tiny
Subtlest of nods or blink's
Hiding behind a smiling blackened eye
Because they are simply unable or lack
the inner strength or stomach for the fight
To stand up or speak for themselves
In order so they can show you the pathway
But yet then again aren't you just
so to the problem as well
If you yourself expect others to do
Something you have yet yourself
Seemed unable to accomplish or do
Because that offers others
In similar powerless unmanageable situations
Surely no solace or form of help
In fact makes matters way far worse
If other victims don't seem to care neither
...And those who scream,”No gun! No knife!
Not even if to defend my life!”
Care they so little for being human
that they won’t even stand up to defend
the greatest gift bestowed by this universe?
It strikes me as incredibly perverse.
The whole of you, every thought and care,
uour hopes, your heart, your soul, your flair,
the big and small things that define us
these folks would throw it allunder the bus.
Thinking that it’s some kind of moral high
to just stand there and let themselves die…
It’s nonsense, sophistry, it's vile rot!
You’ve a duty to protect what you’ve got,
To say that your life is worth everything,
That you’re sovereign and strong, no mere weakling,
That your time here is worth any price,
and all who’d take it had better think twice,
By your own hand they may meet their end,
you will not be taken from family and friends.
And those who would not make this hard choice,
Do they really value this life they’ve enjoyed
if they are not willing, when the hour’s late,
to save themselves from murderous hate?
So if they’re not crazy, or criminal scum,
I believe that an adult has to own a gun.
Don’t forget your children, your husband, your wife,
the things that a person values beyond life.
Have you not a duty to protect all of them?
How will you do that if you have no defense?
You can call the police and hope they arrive,
but it only takes moments for someone to die.
If we really love them, do we have to right
to pretend that true evil will never drop by?
If we are their parents, the protectors of youth,
should we not be ready for what we must do?
If they drag away your daughter with carnal intent
will you still feel ‘beyond’ the Second Amendment?
I don’t think you will, I think all the P.C.
will crumble as you fall down to your knees,
gnashing teeth and wailing at what you have lost,
knowing that failure bears such a great cost.
It’s all on our shoulders in this veil of tears,
we’re the first line against adult fears,
we carry the burden of our life and theirs,
we stare into darkness and try not scare.
So if they’re not crazy, or criminal scum,
I believe every adult should own a gun.
GOD OF MY FATHER
God of my Father
God of all who cares
God of the ancients and all whose here
You’re the maker and the ALL I AM
Creator of all that is
You should not have to come into bondage
Why do you bother?
And what is your plan brother
Open your eyes and realize Him
Father, Holy One Supreme Being
Child of redeemer
How do you feel when?
You’ve let your mother down
Just stand up and
See your blessings man
Just stand up and
Claim your presents
Claim the presents of the Lord, God
Claim your presents in God
You should not have to come into bondage
Why do you bother?
And what is your plan brother
God of my Father
God of all who cares
God of the ancients and all whose here
You’re the maker and the ALL I AM
Creator of all that is this is your name…
GOD OF MY FATHER

Once a week, on a Friday
I have the most delightful way
I escape from all household chores
When Friday comes, I shut all the doors
To trouble and woe,
Then off I go.
I take Friday slow,
And savour every second
Because I know
That Father Time will beckon
And the time will pass too fast,
I don't mind,
If the weather rains or shines,
It will be fine for me.
On Fridays, I feel free.
I spend hours in a cosy cafe.
I reserve a window seat.
I have lunch there every Friday.
It is a tasty treat.
Their coffee is the best,
That I have ever tasted.
And would stand up to any test.
And not a drop is wasted.
I love sipping my coffee,
And watching people as they pass.
It's like I can see the world more clearly.
As I quietly sipped coffee behind the glass.
I.
I dreaded those days before they came
When I had to look at you laying down, weak as I stared at your frame
And many treasures that couldn't make you stand up
Glory is nothing to those gone, packed up
And I prayed you would make heaven upon your return
Thought nothing about the weight if I had to carry your bones to the promised land
Having no power to call you back as I listened to life's crude tones on command
I'll bring you back in grand style if God willed it so
Though all I've got is a little oil and five stones
II.
I'm not that king of ages
I'm not that old widow miraculously made rich
I depend on God like they did
A light reborn without doubts and dismay
I carry my cross, following Jesus
Without any more dallying, I win every course
Running to win against hoarse waves
I'm neither the wisest nor the best
Neither the bravest nor the greatest
I have nothing else to give but all it takes
No other show of faith and grace but my little oil and five stones
III.
I have a hope and a song for my times of trouble
I have a shoulder and a gong for my times of pain
I'm not that king of ages
I'm not that old widow with gained heritages
I'm not better than they all
But in the midst of dirges and storms of tears
My little oil will overflow
And by one from my stones, these giants are overthrown
I'll be made whole, transformed in God's tomorrow
Separated from tares the evils have sown
I'll be counted amongst the holy seeds, a godly breed
Bald as a rock with the Spirit of the ancient Word
And I'll still relish the peace bought by a blood stained sword
I’m contemplating braces
My belts don’t seem to work
They just don’t seem to get a grip
Now I’m of a certain girth
I shop at Marks and Spencer’s
I like their thermal vests
I bought a pair of slippers there
With golden crowns as crests
I watch every weather forecast
The met office App’s my friend
I study all the isobars
To suss the latest trend
When I do the weekly shop
I always get a thrill.
If I’ve brought my “bag for life”
To fill up at the till
I can’t rise from the sofa
Without a grunt or groan
My knees “click” when I stand up
I think my caps have blown
I tend to drink at home now
I can’t afford the pub
I’m a regular down “one stop”
It’s become my social hub
I never miss a bin day
Be it brown or blue or black
I check the council website
That’s just how I keep track
I like routine and order
I wear only matching socks
I get weekly satisfaction
When I sort my dossit box
I know all the cloud formations
When I look up to the sky
Be it stratus, be it cirrus
Or cumulus nimbi
I can’t read labels or instructions
But my phones always on hand
To photograph the tiny text
And expand, expand, expand.
I’m not living at the cutting edge
Though some may call me dull
As I hear the drums of youth recede
I’m looking forward to the lull.
I’ve had it with the greasy pole
I’d rather find a watering hole
Where, on a sun drenched day in June
I’d while away the afternoon.
Life’s journey”s far from over
May these lines not depress
To all my fellow travellers
Its just time to “decompress”
I was open minded and accepting of people,
honest and hopeful, kind and helpful,
living in the moment unplanned and peaceful.
My intentions were good yet I'd stand up to evil,
confident natured when challenged by egos,
I didn't pass judgement and treated all equal,
except for the weirdos with whom I'd be lethal.
I didn't look at people and think I was better,
I didn't look at people and think I was lesser,
but sadly I learned that people will compete,
I didn't make competitions yet still they repeat.
I was about understanding why you were upset,
manipulators were the ones I would get,
who took advantage without any regret,
creating victims but never in their debt.
I appear unaware but I'm tuned into lies,
I don't need to hear them I see it in the eyes,
it's from close observation that I recognise,
there's too much activity going on in the mind.
You're not calling on a memory from a moment in time,
you're creating this entity and fitting it in line,
your brain shows you memories you don't use your eyes,
but when you create things there's need to visualise
I'm the target targeted all of the time,
they try to outsmart me and socially climb,
but repeating means practice and I detect the signs,
I move one step ahead appearing one step behind.
With honour I'll take on the one on one,
but I know now face to face isn't for some,
I play by the rules that aren't for everyone,
they go behind your back growing obsession,
the sinister armed with just this one weapon,
so when they get you they don't do it for fun,
and they got me before I knew to get them,
defeated before I knew what would happen.
And that's why I'm now someone rejecting of people,
because sometimes there's no way of noticing evil,
I wont again be damaged by those weak and feeble,
but I know if I see them I'll do something illegal
