Oceanic, Ominous Waves

Loneliness is not what I’m looking forward to
Distress was not part of my gladness, so true
Oceanic, ominous waves bring me down sometimes, darling so free
Tension-packed, traumatic nervousness gives me moments of mere bravery

Oceanic, ominous waves swallow me whole and silence takes its toll substantially,
Eventually washing away the jubilance that blooms like the sun of the afternoon
Gladness and God’s grace makes me flutter away and sway away oh so beautifully
Like a suave butterfly out of a vicacious cocoon that flies in the month of June

Love from above is essential and beneficial to my heart of cold stone
I’m like a resonating, dynamic dove in the sky, then captivated in descending disheartenment
I rove in fields of blues and grays - the ominous waves, alone,
Have scared me off and made my optimism die and now, I am facing dire discouragement

Emotionally inclined and woeful waters spill out from my oceanic eyes
Getting rid of the guilty conscience and fighting back lust and lies
Crimson rain, like waterfalls, collide from the wounds of my heart’s desire
I want to be as pure as amber-colored auras around the rather dazzling fire

I’m as freezing hot as fire below the waters of wistfulness
I want to boil up your wondrous waves of blissfulness
I don’t want to look back at the ominous waves of fearful fretfulness
I don’t want to backtrack the sorrow from within you and I regardless

Majestic, mesmerizing movement of the sparkling sea moves us for an eternity
It brings me benevolent bliss and leaves the gloomy waves envious of our serenity
I just don’t want to be humiliated by hatred and its horrendous thunderstorm
Instead, let me feel the monsoons of meandering magnificence unfold and keep my kindred spirits warm

Evaporate the oceanic, ominous waves from tearing us apart -
Drown not my hopes and joys of my youth from my heart; give me a reason to venture on my own
We are a ship of vital vigilance and shimmering might from the start
I am much like a seashore-bound shipwreck, once wandering through the abyssal waters all alone

Ascending awesomely like the exuberant, extraterrestrial mountains
Oceanic, ominous waves try to break me into shards of empty misery,
Expressing my solitude’s serene solace through my poetic words
Loneliness is not what I’m looking forward to, but to release it like birds

Chasing Away the Blues

I have lived in a contest with life until now,
Not to be afraid in anticipation I now solemnly vow..................

I have cheated my fears alright,
I have broken up with my doubts uptight.

I got engaged to my faith last night,
I married my dreams at the sight of first light.

I am not afraid to get up today,
I am not afraid to wake up to another day today,

I am not afraid to open my eyes today,
I am not afraid to climb out of bed today.

I see beyond and am not afraid any more,
I see beyond and am not afraid any more.

I am ready to face the world all alone,
I am ready to do anything to walk up the stepping stone.

I am ready to say anything to anyone,
I am ready to talk to anyone under the sun.

I am ready to yell from mountain tops,
I am ready to dive from ravine drops.

I am ready to walk for a cause,
I am ready to run to protect environmental laws.

I am ready to understand tangled issues,
I am ready to wipe all tears with tissues.

I am ready to jump out from a moving truck,
I am ready to pull my allies from loads of muck.

I am ready to be creative again,
I am ready to write and spill out my joys and pain.

I am ready to sing my own songs,
I am ready to correct my own wrongs.

I am ready to throw a stone afar,
I am ready to play my own music for all with the door ajar.

I am ready to write notes about me,
I am ready to put them up for all to see.

I am ready to whistle whilst I walk down the alley,
I am ready to pluck the fruits from the orchards of Sally.

I see beyond and am not afraid any more,
I see beyond and am not afraid any more.

I Dream Not To Hold a God

Being with you is overwhelming for
You are so much more than I am
You fill my thoughts and spill out my heart
For you are too much

You are so much more than I am
Because you are a god I dream not to hold
For you are too much
For a mortal like me

Because you are a god I dream not to hold
Because your beauty is too unearthly
For a mortal like me
And I love you so much more than I should

Because your beauty is too unearthly
You hold thousands of suns in your hands
And I love you more than I should
For you may burn me without intention

You hold a thousand suns in your hands
And I should not get close the moon within your eyes
For you may burn me without intention
And you can control the oceans and tide

And I should not get close to the moon within your eyes
Because the moon controls the raging water
And you can control the oceans and tide
And you may drown me without intention

Because the moon controls the raging water
And I cannot get to close
And you may drown me without intention
I love you so much more than I should

The words found a way a song

[Verse 1]
I can feel it in my bones,
a low hum in my ears,
all the words I kept unspoken,
all the things I held so dear.

For a long time I clenched them tight,
never let them touch the air,
pressed them down into my notebooks
like secrets no one else could bear.

[Pre-Chorus ]
But ink turns restless in the dark,
scratching at the page—
and one night it climbed right out of me,
refusing to behave.

[Chorus]
Now the words just bubble up,
spill out before I think,
turn to poems on my tongue,
turn to songs before I blink.
Call it magic, call it madness,
call it heart or call it hymn—
but I can’t stop the rhythm rising
from the deepest place within.

[Verse 2 ]
They clawed, they scrabbled,
they broke loose from the quiet,
dragging melody behind them
like sparks starting a riot.

I answer friends in verses now,
confess my sins in rhyme,
walking lighter through the world
but thinking deeper every time.

[Bridge]
Maybe healing isn’t gentle,
maybe truth is loud and raw—
maybe singing is the only way
to survive the things we saw.

[Final Chorus ]
So let the words keep bubbling up,
let them rise and let them spin—
turn my silence into thunder,
turn my losses into wind.
If it’s magic or it’s madness,
I’m still learning where I’ve been—
but I’ll follow every rhythm
from the lifelines in my skin.

[Outro ]

Cruel Rage

Pushed and fallen apart…
Worn the brave face
While I sweat in my heart
In this rapid-paced race

I survived the storms you whirled inside me
I arrived complete in dawn's light delightfully
Deleted the lack of passion progress I felt back then
Again, you never really cared, so I hide in my den

That is disappointing you stole away my inner pride in me,
The healthy pride that was the confidence that was a sea
A refuge to my soul and my everything…my everything…oh dear
You force fed me cruel rage, just in case you weren’t aware, I fear

You weren’t there, not even a hair
I still want to hold on, one more dare…
Your touch got cold and who knew
We would end up here, stuck like glue

Remember, I have known you for years
Wish I could fully forget the struggles we faced, we faced
Trace me upon your memory's reflection
Don’t reject me and bury me under, feeling so disgraced

You can’t break me by your cruel rage
You can’t hurt me because I’m leaving
I am not your pet in this screwed-up cage
Sorry, hon, but I am done with grieving

Saying my goodbyes to your lies
Bidding my farewells to time flies
Ignoring your calls and lullabies
Your anger and abuse…slowly…dies…

Wet explosions spill out of my eyes vastly
Won’t look back and don’t try to find me
Be very strong
Because I will
You’re wrong
About me still
Frozen in bed
Dealt with dread
I smile and smack away the fretful frowns
I’ll run the mile and kick down my downs

Burning the letters in my mind
That rewind your cruel rage
Thank you for leaving me behind...
That backtrack my dejected page

There are many other pages to cover
Eventually, I will recover
From your cruel, heartless rage
Under cover, but released from your ribcage

Rinsed away the raindrops from bitter clouds, oh blessed curse
While guilt overflowed immensely, but I seek tragedy in reverse…
Far, far away from your cruel, heartless rage
Under cover, but unleashed by spiritual sage…

Unleashed by your cruel rage…
Release me, unforgotten ribcage…
If not, darling, wait…
God will, it is my fate

Shelter me,
Spiritual remedy…

Ah, but that cruel cage
Cut down that awfully mad page

Poems With Very Little Words Stunt My Growth

Poems with very little words
Only serve to minutise my imagination
Every word has the power to build
My sweet imagination
So serve them to me on a blank white sheet
                                                               WITH
Verbalization flare and you got my thanks forever
Engage me in your story let me feel the
Rising passion of your soul and
You will have me hooked forever
                                                                 LITTLE
Words restrict my possibility of expansive thought
Open your mind and spill out the story my fellow poet
Rewind your life and tell me all the stories of your journey
Dance on my soul like a dervish circling my aura
Sing to me with words of assonance and repetance
                                                                  STUNT

Me with your poet's steel quill and dip me in your well
You need not scimp on words just show me your story of
                                                                 GROWTH .

You anchor your rancor, a cancerous canker,
Not just any mole
Your hatred you hide it, you split and divide it,
It's soured your soul

The women, you bait them, you date and berate them,
You're no kind of man
You're just out for the kill and you spill out your swill,
Like nobody can

Their hearts beating faster, they race towards disaster,
Watch out for that curve
The dark he is seeking, it weakens their beacons,
But strengthens his nerve

They know they're in trouble, his efforts now double,
Not just a bad dream
Unable to match him, they kick and they scratch him,
And let out a scream

He's vain, so he's flattered, they're raped and they're battered
And left there to bleed
In his warped little brain, all their terror and pain,
Will then fill his need

Through hell and high waters, must teach all our daughters,
To stand up and fight
It's horrific but true, it could happen to you,
And happen tonight

Pieces of Me

Sliding another coffin nail out of sky-blue cardboard,
lending yet another piece of myself to a stranger.
If giving a gift is giving part of yourself
you can find me in the lungs of street
performers in Rome who rise with electric light
and sing until the sun sends them to bed again.
You can find me in the deep breathing lungs
and steadfast hearts of all the friends who
take me with them as they dance into the night.
You can find me in the local economy of Woodruff
Park where the homeless trade cigarettes
for apples or shoes or rusted quarters
If you were to cut me open I wonder how many
pieces of how many people would spill out?
Momentary kindness builds the foundations
of my soul and everyday I add another brick to the wall

Destruction and Decadence

I have no idea what you are facing in this segment of life
You are like a labyrinth; I can’t untangle the mayhem without any clues
Spill out your emotions…there’s a waterfall in your eyes ready to collapse
I don’t have the time and willpower to hike on your colossal mountain

Are you fit enough to climb with my echoing praise?
I doubt I ever have the strength to crawl into your agonizing thoughts
Of destruction and decadence
Of despondent dreams and isolated guidance

Do you accept my benevolence towards you?
Do you believe that I can mend your shattered dreams?
Do you accept my fondness towards a friend like you?
Do you have faith that I can make your dreams a reality as it truly seems?

Your contemplation is another expedition to trek
You are like an island, separating cramming chaos from undying peace
Rise from the cave and attack…there’s a bear in your nature, watching over her cubs
I don’t have the ability and determination to trudge in your soggy wasteland

Are you slick enough to trek with my shielding gaze?
I doubt I’m nowhere to be found in your thoughts of desolation
And destructive formation,
Springing forth the equipment of your
Turmoil and damnation

With any luck, I hope we can arrive in one piece
On the other hand, I wish that we both escape from this horrifying journey
Because I want to discard the labyrinth, crafting puzzling pathways that draw me back to
Destruction and recklessness
That I, by no means, address
