I Found a Spaceship

Numbers (From the Old Testament)
11:1 And when the people complained, it displeased the LORD: and the LORD
heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the LORD burnt among them,
and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp. 11:2 And the
people cried unto Moses; and when Moses prayed unto the LORD, the fire was
quenched. 11:3 And he called the name of the place Taberah: because the fire of
the LORD burnt among them. 11:25 And the LORD came down in a cloud, and
spake unto him,

Like something out of Goonies
Exploring a childhood cave
I found a hidden entrance
Piled rocks it did save
Pristine with no graffiti
Perhaps the first human to come this way
I stumbled upon a hidden spaceship
Waiting for my soul to take

I powered up the engine
Exhilaration surging through me
Just with a simple thought
To another star system I would be
For the first time in my life
No one telling me what to do
Justifying my need for power
Perhaps as you would too?

I zip to a primitive world
Where the females look so pleasing
And I display my virile power
Morality ridiculous and fleeting
Striking at my own fears
And lifetime of limitations
I declare myself a God
Destroying any asking questions

I roar, I am the Lord!!!
You will have no others before me!!!
I force them to pay taxes
Taking women for booty
Demanding my payment of tribute
Always more women and gold
Then I load up the precious metals
To be returned home and sold

Then I have a book written
Rewarding those playing along
And I make myself a written deity
Justified through scripture and song
Then I take my stolen plunder
And return to my home
Rich and justified in my actions
My only judgment is my own

Years pass as they will
My curiosity gets the best of me
And I return to the cave
Then wormhole back to see
This new religion has taken root
And wars are fought in my name
Chuckling as I shake my head
Wondering if I should feel the slightest shame

A person named Jeannie she is angry at the world.
All her life each day, all she done was quarreled.
Another one I met, all she does is sit and bets.
Spending all her time and money, which she gets,

I watch all human movements, varied are they?
Some twirl their hands, some shake leg in dismay.
I know a man so afraid, that he tells the same stories.
Thinking he won’t be liked, without daily allegories.

Another man speaks of conquests of women of life.
However, he never talks about ever having any wife.
Then there is this scared woman, who I know is abused.
Hiding her fear, furtive bruises seen, she keeps all amused.

I see daughters picking boyfriends, same as abusive dad.
Just to look normal, they allow them in, to share a pad.
Then, assertive ones who think they can destroy any mobs.
But in reality, they are disorderly; homes are kept like slobs.

I have also noticed if a mom is disorderly, mildly unclean.
Their daughters are immaculate, there’s no dirt to be seen.
There may be some who have dyslexia, though not so un-smart.
Can learn much greatness with patience, never challenging start,

Prissy women who look to be wealthy and have a great style,
This is usually only a show; they drink much, secretly for a while.
Macho men, parading about as if they have it made and have it all,
Are only masquerading for themselves, others know what is saw.

A man or woman who is confident in who they are, what to show.
Stands back and watches, earns name quiet, shy, but they really know.
Do they really know or have they been put down, stomped on, so bad.
Throughout life, accepting all changes, playing only game they’ve had.

- Voice of a Dalit Women

now hear the unheard cries
of dalit women plight
upper caste takes pride
humanity here despise
seeing the cruelty dies
of high caste females crucify
mercilessly their own gender
in the name of caste blunder
mutely supporting the plunder
of dalit women, who wonder
the silence of own gender
on the sight of feminity
in the board day light
paraded naked in their own vicinity
raped, ravished and trampled
no doubt upper caste feminity
is skin deep only
else they would have fought
for their feminine right
to live life free of fright
alas! they are caste blind
to see their mutual bind
feminists too are not so kind
to raise voice against the crime
however will burn candles
and raise issue nation wide
on death of upper caste women
died enjoying night party
such feminists who glee
in distributing pink panty
for women’s right to party
awfully ignores humiliating death
suffered by dalit women daily
story of dalit women is grim
suffers discrimination all time
as a female and a lower caste being
though struggling through adversities
if succeed to come out of the rim
aristocrat high caste vultures deem
her hopes nothing but dream
ever preying on her virtuosity
that dominates their caste superiority
arising dalit women suffers subtly
high caste people discriminating policy
based on caste as well gender inferiority
where majority prays and swears by female deity
but treat dalit women mere commodity
nation egotist in its democracy
fails to notice caste discrepancy
dalit women should now be their own saviors
pursue the legacy of Savitribai Phule and Dr. Ambedkar
be educated, be united and agitate
