Without love
We are nothing
And we have nothing
When we have love
We have everything
And that’s something.
Where there’s no love
Reign total chaos, crimes, division
Havoc, death, and destruction
With true love
Doves and peacocks fly above
The firmament is light and blue
Everything is beautiful and new
Without love
We have nothing
And we are nothing.

Ohne Liebe Sine Amore
Ohne Liebe
Wir sind nichts
Und wir haben nichts
Wenn wir Liebe haben
Wir haben alles
Und das ist etwas.
Wo es keine Liebe gibt
Totales Chaos, Spaltung, Verbrechen
Tod und Zerstörung herrschen
Mit wahrer Liebe
Oben fliegen Tauben und Pfauen
Das Firmament ist klar und blau
Alles ist schön und neu
Ohne Liebe
Wir haben nichts
Und wir sind nichts.

Today we commemorate 9/11…we remember the moment our world turned grey…it’s our annual reminder…of everyone and everything we lost that tragic…fateful day.
There have been 20 years of children born Sind 9/11…an entire generation not around…not around the day those lives were lost…not around the day our world came tumbling down.
Not around to remember how beautifully that day began…not around to tell…
how that beauty would change forever…the day the towers fell.
Not around to see people jumping out of windows…frightened women…frightened men…not around to remember telephone calls to loved ones…they’d never see again.
Not around to see the population of a city swallowed in debris…
Not around to see our country’s courage…our resiliency.
Not around to know of the heroes…for there were heroes everywhere
They were on the ground beside us…they were flying in the air.
Not around to understand what was in each person’s heart and soul…
In a plane when they decide to fight…when they uttered the words, “Let’s roll.”
Not around to see the carnage…smell the smoke…or here the din…
Not around to see people running out of doors while police and firefighters were running in.
That’s why we commemorate that day…
why we remind ourselves of the panic…the anger…the destructive power of a jet…
So those not around back then will long remember…
a day the rest of us cannot forget.
The Demon’s Curse: Hell, to Pay
Sind was a picture-perfect town built on a dark, 93-year-old secret. Deep inside the woods sat the old "Wishing Well." Tourists tossed coins into the water, unaware that far below, behind a heavy golden door, sat a demon named Marcus. For nearly a century, thirty-eight town elders and their descendants kept him locked away. They tortured him to harvest the gold trapped in the well, funding the town's luxury. Over decades of agony, Marcus whispered a rhythmic curse into the stone:
Do not steal from the wishing well spirit,
Don’t open the black door and lock me in,
For there is a curse,
For when I get out,
There will be hell to pay.
Through the years, Marcus waited patiently. He knew that the more gold the townspeople used, the deeper they were falling into hell. He just needed a single, solid soul to do the right thing. Finally, she arrived. Guided by the well, a young woman found the key and unlocked Marcus from his torment.
Free at last, Marcus surged out of the well to hunt his captors. He rounded up the descendants of the thirty-eight elders, closing the ring around them. One by one, he threw them all down into the dark, watery abyss, trapping them behind the door so they could finally pay their own way out. Blowing his flute he sent his curse
Ich binn ein Berliner
I somehow went to Berlin in 1937
it was time travel I can't explain
I saw the date on a newspaper in the Alexanderplatz
After looking in shop windows for an hour,
I realised I had an opportunity to kill Hitler
there were lots of pictures of him
people were staring at me, I looked like a foreigner
a policeman wearing feldgrau asked me "Wo sind deine Papiere?"
I spent the night in a horrible jail cell with some men I thought sounded Jewish
the next day I was at the American Embassy
the Ambassador was an old man wearing a rumpled grey suit
and he spoke with a Southern accent
I said "I want to kill Hitler"
he stared at me and told me I was in danger
he bought me a ticket to America
I ended my journey of seasick travelling
at Kemp and Hebert's department store
in the Liberty Building in Spokane, Washington
stumm und beinah´ ohne Zweifel;
Denn ich wusste nichts von deinen Mühen;
wie verloren du bist in deinem Bild.
In deiner Hand war Komfort eingraviert,
wie süchtig du die Schwachen machst.
Zu lieben heißt zu versuchen,
doch meine Augen belügen die Seele in mir.
Schönheit, gib mir etwas,
etwas das mein Glaube nicht bereuen wird.
Doch was ich da verlange,
macht dich nur stumm, da du mir nichts geben kannst.
Deine Schwächen sind meine Sucht;
Ich zahlte mit Sünden den Sold für dich;
Du bist so unwichtig deshalb will ich dich.
Immerzu kreisen meine Gedanken, ganz ohne Schranken.
