When your trail has been expunged
and the light has gone dim
call me
we will see what we can do
with your empty feelings
that threaten to implode your world
call me
and together love will unfurl
When your thoughts sell out to blackness
and your heart is in pain from the wounds
call me
I'll arrange to scale the mountain together
each knot in the rope carefully planned
you know you have found a home
here in the freedom land
Set your sights on what's here and now
what is right before your eyes
and awaken to your awareness
which never wears a disguise
and plant your feet firmly on the ground
while you raise your arms to the skies
and remember you are sacred
and in time
your spirit remembers it flies
There are no sorrows to drown in your salty tears
just strength to guide you through
you are here and now
and able to reside in a spirit world
your heart and mind
blessed and pure
and able to continue
one day at a time
stepping if baby steps are needed
to your own
special rhyme.
I breathe a sigh of relief when I cross the street. I stoop down on the ground without a smile or a frown to look back at where I am coming from and the long stretch of road in front of me and the next voyage to cross the sea.
I can hear the engines rolling and the orchestra playing yonder, and tension building up near and far. Take me to the garden where the wild things grow and climb the tree where the passion fruits wrap it vine around the roots and wet your lips with succulent strawberry and let the juice run down your mouth before you start to shout.
Roll on the grass and climb the tree and you will have a great sense of relief. The circumference is deep, so measure it before you take that leap; the windows are open wide, so get ready for the unexpected bride.
If you wear jeans and shirt the business will sell out, go for the fancy dresses too and the million dollars suite; the central park buggy will carry you if you are wearing an extra tight pair of shoes. You can observe the sheen on my lips when I attempt to make that once in a lifetime kiss.
I breathe a sigh of relief when the ball stuck in the tree, I breathe a sigh of relief when I discover the bun without cheese, and the ball could not come down for the wind was not moving around. But with one giant shake, everything tumbles through the gate, and the architect of the sea has designed a plan to rescue me, and when we hit the floor, we knew that time will be no more.
Come and have a dialogue with me to settle this age-old agony; the dry parched earth on which you stand, hardened from the murmuring heat has granted me the courage to speak.
Bold is the night when cocks and hens start to fight but the essence of life will meet you there on time. They come from near and far with peace on their mind, and we will settle the score before anyone walks through the door.
Stay with me for a while and gentle close your eyes and you will see everything as plain as can be; the hall is full and everyone is well dressed and looking good, it is like a garden floating in paradise, with sweet aroma and fragrant perfume floating in the sky and everyone was smiling with good cheers and the music floats splendidly through the hall, and I breath a sense of relief when I woke up from my sleep.
Ain’t Nuthin To Do in Lubbock
By David J Walker
The Killer came to town
Jerry lee Lewis and his pal
Jim Ed Brown
Playin at the municipal coliseum
To a sell out crowd
Payin up to 5 bucks
Just to see ‘em playin loud
But… that Ain’t Nuthin
Cause Asleep At The Wheel an
Jerry Jeff Walker an The Mains Brothers,
Waylon n Willie and a lot of others
Includin Alvin Crow were still knocking em dead at
Back to back weekend shows
At the Cotton Club
While all the musicians in town
went to see Stevie Ray V
wailing on his fender
At Stubbs where Lou kept the BBQ ribs
And the cold beer comin
Joe Ely was there being cool
playin pool
tradin licks Jesse guitar Taylor
And Some fool still says….
Ain’t nuthin to do in Lubbock
He remembers that day
many sad years ago
It was sunny out,
But soon a storm raged.
He returned home early
from work,
eager
to rest and nurse a cold.
Eager
to see his gorgeous wife
fix him a delicious soup
and give loving care,
a remedy not.
He caught a surprise.
Was it then a hallucination?
To see her ex's car
in front of their house,
fanning the flames in his heart?
Or to imagine the house shaking,
or to hear love noises howling
from the rafters of contempt,
As her fireplace warmed the tempest.
He sure hoped then... it had been a misfire
It wasn't.
He slowly opened the front door,
walking decrepit and sad,
like he was in hospice care.
He could see the final script
playing out,
more so, the tragic ending
the trail of clothes,
her ex-boyfriend's scent,
calamity,
and approaching closer
The devil is speaking louder.
He opened the bedroom door
to their parts caught in honey jars
and scarlet red on his tainted wife
over bed sheets of shame.
Their eyes catch,
both flush and tearful,
as breathing stopped,
His melancholy eyes ask why?
Why?
What about the future lily pods?
our family, house, kids
... and you sell out.
What about being fresh
out of college with our dreams,
passion and honor...us.
What about the bonds?
pinky swears, pricking of blood
marital vows.
Her eyes had no answers.
She cried the loudest
as her ex-boyfriend bolted
not before passing the mill.
He closed her door for good
that mournful day,
dismissing darkness,
opening his wrath for her
in his mind, yet
What words or light can be exchanged?
Uprooted and lost, he walked
scarred over and over
by her promise and lost love.
That was thirty years ago
And he still walks with her
ghosts, and it still pains.

Note: I wonder who the guilty party is?
In the beginning
After what began and started out
as a bit of fun and the sheer love
and joy of it
With the simplest innocent of
motivations nothing else intended
Later it is then to becomes something
far more than a passing phase or hobby
You actually become both rich
and famous
So much so you become lost
drawn into the fame game trap
Surrounded by nodding yes men
sucking the very life from you only
out for what they can get
Until what started out as merely wanting
to be in a band and jam
Grew into wishing to be listened to
playing live and having fans singing
back along
And once that initial dream then
eventually became achieved
Why stop there next stop fame
and fortune
And when so to that dream as well
finally came to fruition
All they ever wanted then was no
longer to be heard
No longer to be popular for popularity
sake
People mostly say they like because they
do not want to be deemed uncool
But instead be thought of as an
artist able to experiment and
grow
Without the fear of faltering sale's
And being labeled by the critical
press
As being a sell out and being
told
Probably best they quit whilst they
are ahead
People are already beginning
to complain
Whatever they had is more or
less about gone
Bet they are only still doing it for the money
And besides apparently they have such
big ego's
They can't even stand to be in the
same room as each other anyway
No surprise is it any wonder why
their last album bombed
Poet Dimples
How can I please?
I am lost at sea!
I don't want to write poems,
that simply, are not me.
That's pure duplicity.
I won't sell out on me!
And, I am human, after all.
I do hear that non-stop siren call,
"Be popular", that's all!
That's the dichotomy,
I find myself in.
Like being in a circus,
Trying to make the crowd grin.
This poem so wonderfully
direct and simple,
It creates creases in my
attractive, poet dimples.
So, I find iif I, only accept myself
as is.
And if others just cannot?
Well then…..it is, what it is!

Sad news today, February 6th in our year 2011
To "The Great Gig in the Sky" sell out in Heaven
My favourite blues rock guitarist, Mr Irish Gary Moore
Joins the "Midnight Blues, "Too Tired" no more will he tour
At fourteen years of age he received his first guitar
Like many budding rockers aspirations to be a rock star
The Beatles, Elvis Presley and the amazing Albert King
Heavily influenced this left hander, who made his right hand sing
As he grew past his teens, the genre he'd enter would mean
The likes of John Mayall's Bluesbreakers and Hendrix, now he's seen
Blues Rock it was to be, when Peter Green caught his ear
If you grew up with this maestro, you'll know his career
It started way back, way back in 1969
Skid Row, from Dublin he joined, as the music industry would find
This is where his association began, with Lynott, bassist extraordinaire
Many nights sharing the blues, this two Irishmen would share
His solo career just grew and grew, then into Thin Lizzy he would blend
Sharing the Black Rose stage with Phil his Irish friend
The blues became his life, with two Albert's who'd share his stage
Guesting with his 'Midnight Blues Band' many a jam they would engage
I now close my humble tribute, for he'll always be in my heart
On this day in Estepona, Spain, my hero in final depart

It has been frequently said, that fervent prayers make a world of difference!
I am thereby calling upon the God of the heavens and the earth, to heal our people and our divided lands. And let not our enemies triumphant over us!
It is all too sad but none the less true! People in positions of wealth, power and influence have sold out our countries to powerful enemy nations!***
They have betrayed the very people, who elected them.
They have betrayed the very people by misinformation.
They have betrayed the very people who they educate. ***
They have betrayed the very people, whose money they
invested. They have sold out their medical resource systems.
They have betrayed the very people, who are their employees.
They have betrayed the very people, who they entertain. etc. ***
They have done far more than to sell out their countries' populations! They have sold out their souls to the very devil himself! "For what is a man profited, if he should gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his own soul?" Matthew 16:26. The same general rule of thumb applies for the feminine gender as well.
What must we do, but pray that God Almighty prevents them from further selling their own countries down the river to a certain rich communist country! This country has world dominion on its very mind! In fact they even consider the European nation of France as one its provinces. If they completely succeed in taking over the United States of America? What chance do other countries have in retaining their own freedoms! Only the Lord God will be able to stand in their way!
Love in Christ Jesus!

I SEE TRUE YOUR EYES
You look, you look, you
look me, in the eye,
But your gaze carries
on, into infinity,
No other reason,
except it’s all lies,
Unable to make contact,
you stare through me.
You see, you see,
you don’t see at all,
Give nothing away,
that’s your weakness,
Extremely clever,
a Scrooge to befall,
Greed’s all consuming,
brings only bleakness.
I know, I know, I know,
what you are,
Obsessed about money,
yet unable to spend,
I’m not jealous,
have my own happy sum,
Don’t insult me, by
acting poor, it offends.
You want, you want,
you want, but don’t need,
This avarice inside,
knows no bounds,
It’s a cancer,
spreading like a disease,
When speaking, your
bleeding heart sounds.
I strive, I strive,
I strive, to survive,
But my soul,
Is full of vagaries,
You’ll always be rich,
but never can thrive,
Only get thrills,
by saving and Chicanery.
You are, you are,
you are a cheapskate,
A miser a skinflint,
sell out your own family,
And for what, only to
have a niggard’s trait,
bank account you’ll never
touch, is pathological fantasy.

You expect you expect “You
expected more from a (paddy)?
Self-serving nonsense,”
a trap by design,
Hits a raw nerve,
penny-pinchers unhappy,
This ones on me,
didn’t cost you a dime.
To market to market to buy a fat hog, Oops a mistake has been made
it's to purchase an oven fired loaf of freshly cooked bread
How was it cooked and how was it sold
give me some quick I want to be fed
At two in the morning
the cook did arise
Rubbing the sleep
from both of his eyes
Put wood in the oven and set it alight
in roughly three hours, sour dough bread will be cooked
Soon to be eaten
with joyous delight
The warmth of fresh loaves
aroma arising
Shoppers are eager
need no enticing
Twenty four loaves
in total produced
No ads required , a total sell out all of the sales
have been self induced
To market to market again
this time to buy a bee hotel
Oops we're tee- totallers
so we give them the name of bee motel
Australia is host for
the most species of native bees
One thousand nine hundred
more than any country far overseas
These motels provide a haunt
for adults where it's eggs that they lay
Seal the holes with resin , leaves or mud
then they are off, get clean away
Some months do elapse
for the larva to hatch out
You'll see them in daylight, when transformed as an adult
Pollinating flowers
as they're flying about
Procreation continues
the holes filled once more
It's so amazing all the wonders
planet earth keeps in store
