What the world needs now

Is love, sweet love

Sound familiar???

No truer words were ever spoken

Love makes the world go round

Everything else is secondary

Us humans seem to be hellbent

On destroying everything that's good and decent

It's beyond all logical explanation

We all need to step back

And take a good look at what we've got

It shouldn't always be about what we don't have

Before you know it, we reach our golden years

And what was so very important once

No longer seems to matter one iota

RELAX... GO WITH THE FLOW

Live, love, laugh... it feels sooo damn good!

I Can'T Egg Inside This Feeling

Feeling of absolute brilliance
Power
The amazing power of the soul
What do I do with this feeling?
Power of immense magnitude
What can I do with this?
London streets
The high rise estates of North London
I want the amazing power of the soul
Amazing power
The greatness of 90s NYC
Waterflood
I can't stop this feeling
Never end
Angry revenge
Lifted
A happy soul
Happy nigh of the century
Now everything is misplaced
I will put it all right
Before I am dead
I swear to it
I swear to my soul
Nothing will be the same when I finish
Nothing can survive
In my midsts
My secondary school times in London
Eyes of laughter
Friends all around me
Now everyone has deserted me
I have succession in my blood now
The century has not changed
I am going to change the world
It is only time
Wait when I come
From the hills of the French Alps
From London
From Sheffield
To destroy the old ways
To bring in the new
To bring in revolution
Going on holiday with family
The power of my sword
My inner sword
One eye on the left and right of the sword blade
I am at one wit myself
I will destroy and bulldoze all who get in my way
I am the revolution
Before I am dead
I swear
I will bring change
The power of my sword
I want your soul

Premium Member Why Can'T We All Just Get Along

“Why can't we all just get along”
Rodney King once uttered these words
As current today as it was back then
Our “head in the sand” thinking, it disturbs

We're all just members of the human race
Why divide us up, us and them
Brothers that will meet our maker one day
What's so very important until then

In the overall scheme of earthly things
Only love should rise above all
Colour, language and religion all secondary
Co-existence must be installed

Maybe I'm just whistling in the wind
But if my small voice does make a difference
Then hear me loud and clear as I shout
To reject it is a display of ignorance

Premium Member Secondary Numbing Number One

Had I delved deep into The Word
I would have heard,
It wasn't from beyond the cloud
My first winnings were as large as the devil's lure
I wrote the slips; swiped my Visa sure as true grit
Now I know for sure, God was not in it.

I've been playing numbers that
Played against the enemy that was me
Winnings coming out of no where held me in suspense
I was washed in sea of nonsense.

Then came the blues
It knocked me to my knees
It drenched me to tears
It caused my heart to fear, until
I felt the power and warmth of answered prayers.

Now, I am free!
I feel it in my being
I feel it in my bones and marrow
I feel it inside sinews of my soul,
Yes, I am free!!

My riches flowed from beyond the clouds
When I was a child, my grandmother fed us from her winnings
My winnings surpassed the look of blank slips, because
I am free as a bird facing new victory
Free, free, free!

Premium Member Engineers

Engineers know
to build in redundancies
when lives depend
not necessarily exact replicas of the primary unit
but systems whose secondary function
is to carry the load when a primary system
fails.
            The principle applies
to all organisms and the inanimate
objects designed to support them.
But the sun
and the rock
that is earth
need no redundancies.
Burning, cooling
one
of each, they disintegrate
without feeling
for the mantle or the planets.

Some individuals
may, it turns out, be irreplaceable.
There is not always another girl singer
this one is the only one for us
at this time, while we're alive
in this place with the random weather.
The one singer, leader
the one who interprets God's words
when she is assassinated, terminated, released
we are not released, velocity
registers a mandatory, momentarily momentous
palpitation that is gone
unlike Shakespeare
so far. She
was not the sun.
But she was found
to be irreplaceable, unique
her song.

Sixth graders have had the unit on careers. I have introduced hundreds of them today.
We have had guest speakers up the yin-yang, and down the other side of the room
I am confident they know about accountants, musicians, retail, yoga, from career day.
They know about space camp, astronauts, astronomy, bakers, chefs, and things that zoom.

We have been introduced to pharmacists, doctors, lawyers, and a hospital chief.
I spent hours getting people to the event, and I mean over fifty speakers this week.
So it is with great disbelief that I tell you what happened afterwards that gave me grief
When the sixty-graders shared what career they had decided on, giving me a peek….

U-tuber, influencer u-tuber, influencer, influencer, u-tuber, u-tuber, influencer, doctor maybe.
Doctor maybe! I was excited for a second, maybe this child had broken the pattern of idiocy.
U-tuber, u-tuber, u-tuber, influencer, influencer, how much more discouraging could this be?
U-tuber influencer means they do not have any post-secondary education, you see.

They are both the same uneducated career, and truly no career, which they think is stube.
The children of today do not want to work hard for their money, ‘cause…..
They expect to be able to buy a house for their parents by talking on u-tube
Am I kidding? Seriously, I truly and utterly wish I was.

The Lone Shine of a Bassoon

The Newly United Worlds Champion: I signed a contract weeks ago thinking I would be champion by the time this bout came along. The former champion
Kata fought his way into contention and demanded me, he losed and now I'm champion and I got one more championship to claim.I look to meeting two men and the gift from my dillegnace will make me number one over all champions in the entire World. hose in the sound of my voice: like men, I don't mean company titles man, I mean men. Put your pride on the line and look me in my eyes and take the challenge. This time is the right time for Wrrestling and aint no time like now to do this thing! The thing in the ring like men! Championship wrestling like never before. Man to Man tiltes for titles.

Three months later and two more championships collected a group of independant promoters got together and started collecting belts, some retired belts and trophy along side some active belts" They Throw them in the ring and walked off" :one promoter got on the microphone and annouced that the collabrations of these titles under a contract with " Over the Top Entertainment" allows us to recognize the collabration of these enitities and championships united together as Worlds Heavyweight Wrestling Chmapionship. the allowed the number one contender to represent there interest: but wouldn't name him champion , but if he would win against The Big drip Wooga he would be named champion: if he were to lose the Worlds Championship would be unified and the title then would be external to the company with there champion to be named secondary to the new crown. Big Drip won and he left with the championship belt causing twentpanies to unify as him as champion.

The Bigger companies started hearing chants BigDrip in there areanas and durning a live television taping the crowd started chanting Big Drip durning a World Title match. The champion faced a local contender. The champ began shouting at the crowd and the local contender saw an oppurtunity and rolled up the champ to win the title. He beat the guy the next night but it meant the prensence of the Big Drip had reached the Big Leagues!

Premium Member Sanctuary

From a teen of 14 until this year 2020, I'd say that I had a secondary sanctuary. Being secondary does not by any means place this sanctuary in a

subpar position. My primary sanctuary, currently more meaningful, has always been 'me and my quiet place'. In both the primary and secondary, there is

always acknowledgement of 'The Sacred One'. There can be no sanctuary without the presence of both the 'Holy Place and The Holy One'. For the

first time in my life, my association with my 'secondary sanctuary' has been curtailed. The Coronavirus COVID 19 in 2020 has necessitated limited and

conditional 'church attendance'. However, the virus has caused a greater appreciation and utilization of my primary sanctuary. Early mornings, Bible in

lap, coffee in hand, sitting in my chair and watching the sunrise; Sanctuary! Quiet, calm, peace, poise, solace, stillness, and prayer that involves little talk

but lots of listening; Sanctuary! My sanctuary is more defined as a 'God- infused state of being' than a place. In Judaism, before there was a Temple

or Synagogue in Jerusalem, there was a Tabernacle in the wilderness.
Where ever the Israelites went, every journey they took, the Tabernacle was

with them. Sanctuary! And for my Christianity, where ever I am, God's Presence is with me. God's Presence and me! That's Sanctuary!!

Ballad of the school houses

When we were in secondary school,
we used to hold brooms like reign and sweep and sweep
and sweep and sweep clear and clean each an every
  house.
 And race to sweep Hamman Dikko house;
    and race to sweep Tudun Wada house;
  and race to sweep Ardo Sali house;
and make hay while the sun shines.
I remember the brooms were sharp and fine like rainy
water shattering amidst rainy season O a flowing river
 towards the sea.
Our mathes teacher would almost punish us for assuming
that we can anyhow shatter in in in the wood- I remember
the duty perfect used to say as etiquette let begin
from jss 1 to the staffroom , let the ss1 and jss 111
sweep the senior classes and the computer lab.
I remember the motto is keep out impurity and clean
your school and the society at large?.

Standing in a meadow of imagination
Guided, by a celestial destination
Along the dale
Follow the trail
To a regatta, of fireflies with luminous sails

The heavy night air, stills an apprising gaze
As lights set the meadow ablaze
Yellow green
With a lunar sheen
A breezy wave, to a star studded scene

Bathed in the beauty of a blushing moon
Crickets fiddle, night birds sing, frogs croon
A cacophony
Nature's symphony
The sound of heaven, orchestrated brilliantly

An owl takes flight to a pied-a-terre
Watches, with his wide eyed stare
Feeling the love
From God above
I am inspired, by the awesomeness of

For a moment in time we were one
What was, what is and what's to come
