Wise Monkey

"Wise Monkey"

I am tired
I am so so tired
Just sit for a while

See no evil
Hear no evil
Speak no evil

Shut my eyes
Listen to emptiness
Don't speak

Shhhhhhhhhhh

I am tired
I am so so tired
Just sit for a while

Watch my world
go bye

Premium Member In a foolish man's world

See
 in a foolish man's world,
listening to a woman's opinion
is regarded secondary;
 the revolutions of her mind
deemed unnecessary;
placing her needs above all else
 is done rarely;
learning how to handle her heart
 is arbitrary.
But
in the thinking man's world,
a woman is never considered
 secondary;
he understands the importance
of praising her daily;
she's God's greatest gift to him,
 therefore she's primary;
poetically speaking,
she is the sweetest berry
on his tree of life.

See,
in a foolish man's world,
 overlooking a woman's true value
 is legendary;
appreciating for all she does
 is regarded as unnecessary;
making her his main focus
 is done rarely;
because he doesn't see her
as a blessing,
 and that type of thinking is scary.
But,
in a thinking man's world,
she is his guiding light,
 he breathes in her essence
and exhales Paradise.
He acknowledges she is his Rock,
 his foundation,
 his heart's delight,
 be she daughter, mother, girlfriend,
sister or wife,
she should always be respected
and treated right.

See,
in a foolish man's world,
praising a woman is considered
secondary;
but in the thinking man's world,
  he uplifts his Queen daily.

Both Democrat & Republican needs to understand,
that compromising isn’t failing, or losing,
and finding a solution to any problem should always come
before assigning blame. Compromising means
that the welfare of the masses (who elected you)
comes before your own selfish egos and desires.
When you have the attitude of “it’s my way or the highway”
Nothing gets done and country’s needs aren’t met.
We are all set adrift in the same canoe,
and if it sinks, will we not all drown the same?
Jesus loves you!

“If you are emotionally attached to your tribe, religion, political leanings to the point that Truth & Justice become secondary considerations, your education is useless. Your exposure is useless. If you cannot reason beyond petty sentiments, you are a liability to the mankind”

Premium Member The Hand of God In the 1980's

God rules supremely in His perfect sovereignty
Over world events and throughout eternity
With His omnipotence, wisdom and majesty
Including the 1980’s full entirety.

In the great decade’s varied defining moments
God prevailed in economic developments
Midst fantastic music, sports and entertainments
Along political and global engagements.

For sure, God knew all about the “Rubik’s Cube” rage
Of “Compact Discs” commercial launching’s advantage
And the first-ever “Post It” notes for every age
Also “Pac-Man” fun versus addictive rampage.

Though busy with international history
God’s hand reached down very timely to my country*
For momentous peaceful “coup d`etat story”
Called “People-power revolution” victory.

God’s grace to me in the 80’s are wonderful
Blessing me with three graduations truly blissful**
Most of all, He offered His love so bountiful
Which I received my Saviour Jesus by faith***, making life meaningful!

Premium Member Why Can'T We All Just Get Along

“Why can't we all just get along”
Rodney King once uttered these words
As current today as it was back then
Our “head in the sand” thinking, it disturbs

We're all just members of the human race
Why divide us up, us and them
Brothers that will meet our maker one day
What's so very important until then

In the overall scheme of earthly things
Only love should rise above all
Colour, language and religion all secondary
Co-existence must be installed

Maybe I'm just whistling into the wind
But if my small voice does make a difference
Then hear me loud and clear as I shout
To reject it is a display of ignorance

In the Beginning

In the beginning there was man woman and bird and then there was see
when the spirit of God moved inside them, they were all flown in for free
At the very start God gave His will full hand but then he released free will
some recognized their part in it and chose good will others chose to kill...
We are in a secondary world full of pain and confusion buzzing like busy bees
and most of us have blinders on , we cannot see the forest for the trees;
Time evolves the Angels watch us carefully, wondering when will we learn?
some of us have make the effort to awaken, some of us still crash and burn.
In the beginning the earth was quiet and the deer panted near the brook
some of us dig deep in our souls, but then there are others who never look.

Premium Member A Birthday Poem For My Very Special Friend

A Birthday Poem For My Very Special Friend
(This is also composed for my dear friend, PD)

Your birthday is indeed a great time of gaiety,
It calls for a celebration, a Grand Poetic Party
But, what I have just said is only a secondary
Most importantly, your life is great and healthy.

I am writing this poem first and foremost,
To send my love and best wishes to the most
For all the dreams of yours, let’s make a toast
May they all be fulfilled without any cost.

Since, I don’t have here your complete address,
I cannot send you chocolates, cakes or roses
So, I’ll just send my fervent prayer for success
To God, He may protect you, guide you and bless.

I will also enclose in these lines of my poem,
My songs of bliss for you and your family at home,
May you be free from all worries and gloom
Age added but, you’re a gal who incessantly bloom.

My dearest friend Linda, have a very happy birthday,
If you are only here, I’ll dance with you today,
Like a lady on her debut on the 18th Natal Day
You’re our Grand Celebrity in ‘tis Land of Poetry.

King Solomon and I will Fly a kite today

King Solomon and I will fly a kite
On this historical Good Friday,
we seek justice for the young lady
Her father made her act as if she were his niece.
To deceive his new wife, so that she could live with them
His wife found out about the plot and hell would break loose.
On social media, who is in fault,
The father or the new wife,
 for sure not the innocent child
A lie can bring down an empire, a lie can be engraved in history
Chioma, Chioma, anger are secondary emotions
Would love and devotion once again intertwined?
As the wise King stood beside my fingertips today

Just prayer, for kindness and forgiveness
Love conquerors all, love can lead to forgiveness,
Acid corrodes a tongue that speaks falsely
Will one day become un-Godly?
We will hold on to this kite before we release it
 Time will tell in ten years,
While the innocent will endure the most suffering. (Amen)
All children should reside under their father’s roof
According to the biblical time:
Blood is thicker than water,
Acid corrodes a tongue that speaks falsely
Will one day become un-godly.
