The adventure of wheels
Rolled out the business beyond bounds,
Taking people a ride
Men go busy as businessmen
To realize bundles of dreams true
Choice stands on the way of dreams
Sizing the dreams into affordable portions
The business earnings turning the dreams to come true
It's the corrot like a gem in the crown
Earnings cushion the comfortness of it's masters,
If time a tree, it stands on three roots-
Family circle,Job desk and sleeping bed
Breaking a day into three equals is intelligence
Where no schools to teach,how?
Dusk to dawn, runing, beating the mass Sun in race,
At the desk,
Awakening,making days long,
Shortening the size of circle,
Up rooting the tree down,
Commiting injustice tracing fortunes,
Penny wise souls of pound foolish
Like selling gold to buy copper
Sudden turning back at the road long traveled,
Shock to look-
Failings exceeding the success
Loosings against gains-
The worrying outcomes
The higher the earnings to spend in hands
The lower the time spent at homes,
A little oil burned in short nights
Behind the screen of fat money, injustice sits!
“Look carefully and see if there could possibly be pain like my pain, like the one bestowed by You upon me.” – Lamentations 1:12
I walk the width of 2000 pound bomb crater in the densely populated refugee camp, searching centimeter by centimeter for the pieces of inhumanity littering the ground, reminding me of the legionnaires of the fascist air force bombing Guernica brutally, wondering how Picasso would paint this tragedy?
Gaza, now the biggest open graveyard in the world, with the bombs breaking the record in Guinness book of record, guttering hospitals, bakeries, schools, and convoys of war refugees, after decades of oppression.
There are cries of the wounded under the rubble, with no way to reach them,
and the stench of death spreading to the distant shores, to the throne of God.
Into Gaza I go, to find hell and retrieve my conscience.
But, you hear the voices? They don't stop singing, over the abyss of war,
Palestine will be free.
It's that time of the year where everyone's jolly
12 days to Christmas and everyone's singing holy
No more drinks sorry bloody mary
Pour me some wine instead
Shops stocking and restocking
Because people are flocking in numbers
Buying so that they travel upcountry
Cause Christmas ain't the same in towns
Schools are closed, lessons to be offered in the holidays
Lessons of knowing which family member to keep close
Especially those in the kitchen department
Incase you don't want to miss out on the action
Hospitals are running low as everyone's healed
Cause Christmas spirit has gone over them
Touching all those who needed healing
So that this Christmas they spend time with family
And even when Christmas season is up
The festivity goes on to next year
Because Christmas spirit stays on,
till the next festive season is upon us
The PO£T
We cheer the underdog because he is us and we are he
We want him to win because he is us and we are he
We want him to prevail because he is us and we are he
Called names, belittled, put down, tossed down.
Yes. Yes. Yes.Yes.Yes.
I never knew they say
But why would they? They were too busy lying in ditches
Where they were also tossed. Not realizing how many were.
Life can be cruel; a circus of meanness.
And it is – especially when you meet the unkind
They are everywhere, but especially in grade schools.
By the time you realize it is them, not you, it may be too late
You may already be passing mirrors
Using their reflections of you to judge yourself
I am ugly. I am a loser. I am stupid. I am different.
Ah, let’s start from there.
You are different. You are unique. You are one-of-a-kind.
You are an overdog, you are a winner. You are a believer.
You are honest, kind, fair, and you are cheering for underdogs.
You have never been one and you never will be.
Got that OverDog? Got that?
my school counseling curriculum
has been stepped on, rolled about,
kicked down the river.
designed to teach life skills
to students who need them,
I am not only limited to days, now times.
there will be a core time where I
will no longer be in the classrooms
proactive life skill steps no longer welcome
engaging in social interactions
to full satisfaction, being upstanders
not bullies or worse, bystanders, difficult
like art, music and p.e.
guidance is now taking a back seat.
Deemed as “other” no, we will be weeded out in the future.
I feel like an extinct dinosaur,
bellowing my truth, rolling my eyes
as I hear that we are doing this and that for students.
It is money folks
Pure and simple.
Money rules even at schools.
Aliens are said to exist in outer space
Aliens are everywhere if you do not know their face
Or the place where they live
The food that they eat or information they give
The language they speak or their countries rules
They culture, not ours
Would be taught in their schools
Everyone looks different
Fat, thin, tall or short
Skin can be black, white or yellow
Not all the same sort
Do space-age aliens have antenna coming out of their heads
Is this factual or something we've read?
Is there life in outer space
If so no-one has seen it, not even a trace
Even today in 2019
No sign of life there has ever been seen
Perhaps in the future, we will see proof
When the astronauts can tell us the truth
They have found life what others have missed
And we have more aliens to add to our list

Oh! How great our existence is only a rolling ball,
We're birthed to
Cry by self at birth or forced to cry.
Suck and dependent,
Start talking and mingle,
Crawl and dependent,
Walk by self or force to walk,
Dine and eat on parent's bill,
Attend schools or go vocational,
Graduate and work,
Search and date,
Wedding introduction and marriage,
Or decide to remain single,
Enjoy life or otherwise.
The stage of total independence.
Religious or diabolical,
Ruled by greed or selflessness,
Give birth or barren,
Grow gray and agile or weak,
Then several symptoms set in,
Get from children or being totally ignored.
Back to the total dependence,
Suck from the past fruits,
Weak and die,
That all mourn and cry.
Vanity upon vanity
All is vanity so says the wise.
Red blood was shed as their land was taken
Red graves lie unmarked behind shuttered schools
Treaties flouted through Parliament's rules
With redskins confined to reservation
Red songs unsung and red tongues forgotten
Tear off the scab of self denial
Beneath the skin all our blood is red
Together mourn unforgotten dead
Canada's past is now on trial
Time to reright the Indian File.

It's Canada Day here tomorrow but like many I find myself dwelling on the darker aspects of our history.
Form - Sonnetina Cinque http://thepoetsgarret.com/2010Challenge/form7.html
And at dawn's
Bow to dusk by
Each day's end,
She bedded in her
Unwindowed Lonehut,
Skinned of thatch,
That she too may sleep...
She would shut her eyes,
After shutting her door,
For sleep that ever ignored
Her crave.
For in her dreams, a thousand
Shadows chased her into the sea
That steered directly at her thatchedhut.
And in it, sharks, in their schools, would
Expel her, and she would awaken and
Rain would depart from her eyes to her
Bed through the remainder of dusk
Till dusk died down and dawn redawned.
She unfastened her canoe by sunlight
And sailed along with other fishers
Who ever preached to her about her
Beloved hut.
But defying all, she ever returned to it.
But unlike she couldn't afford anew one,
But because she just craved to...
And one day she slept and her soul,
In the otherlyworld,
Noted that she had had enough sleep,
Moved to awaken but could not...
Her friends, the fishers, well aware of
Her long absence around and ashore,
Made for her hut; force-opened its door,
For being silent to their knocks,
And what they saw was why
Humans ever shake heads sideways at
Sad-news and in sadness...
Remember when
Remember when...you were an innocent child
when everyone was good and you could trust every smile?
Remember when... children played outside alone
evil was not lurking on the green grass of home?
Remember when...children walked by themselves to school
parents were not neglectful, or breaking any rule?
Remember when...schools major problem was students chewing gum
not bullets flying randomly from an unhappy students gun?
Remember when...AID was what you gave to someone else in need
and there were no hungry homeless people living on the street?
Remember when...terrorism was just another ordinary word
and did not touch you personally and was rarely ever heard?
Remember when... you were told that these were signs of the last days
do you believe it, or still think that nothing's really changed?
