Grow old along with me:
The best is yet to be!
1
A reed in hand, she comes
Harping a decree of the ancients
Weeping for joy of the prospects
Of our ancestral sceptres:
Swords forged for peace and liberty!
2
Measure this peace of peoples
Sing in the heights of future wars
The shrubs shrug for the cedars
To be cut in the contempt of peace
Prowl in the secrets of sad glories!
3
Freedom is the very word,
A word to be heard in prophesies!
Is she deceiving the celebrate folks?
In markets: mere fools, sad
Tho’ the gods demand the sacrifices!
4
The voices were heard
Far from the Niger’s shores;
O the lagoons quartered the talks
The discourse that could
Determine the flow of Niger’s tears!
5
A white angel blew the trumpet
Humming a foreign dance-style
A native dancer lept into the sky
Calling his neighbours to the stake
Of powers, of shy cry and mourning!
February 1 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Leviticus 4-6
Key Verse – Leviticus 4:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them.
LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY IGNORANCE SUBDUER
Lord God, You are my ignorance Subduer through Your commandment
Thank You for anointing me with Your Word empowerment
So that I can learn along my ministry-involvement
With compassion for prayer-led achievement.
Lord God, You are my ignorance Subduer through Your wisdom’s nurturing
Thank You for teaching me the essence of sacrifices’ peace-offering
So that I can yield myself to You as a cleansed vessel with Your covering
With Your holiness, not guilty of grumbling and murmuring.
Lord God, You are my ignorance Subduer through Your caring admonition
Thank You letting me gain from Your knowledge of guided application
So that I can submit to You my hard-headedness and proud disposition
With Your correction along timely counsel and exhortation.
Lord God, You are my ignorance Subduer through Your sovereign authority
Thank You for hiding me from miseries caused by uncertainty
So that I can exercise prudence, neglecting never-entrusted duty
With Your assurance to forgive my confessed iniquity.
Lord God, You are my ignorance Subduer through Your consistent reminders
Thank You for touching me to see Your presence against vision-blinders
So that I can make amends for my lack of faith among stalwart defenders
With Your discernment forbidding me to walk with law-offenders.
Lord God, You are my ignorance Subduer through Your truth-braced fellowship
Thank You for directing me from falsity of deceitful leadership
So that I can depart against flattering friendship
With Your instruction for jubilant worship.
Lord God, You are my ignorance Subduer through Your vibrant righteousness
Thank You for carrying me forth to Your altar of willingness
So that I can abide in Your faithful graciousness
With Your refreshing comfort and loving kindness.

most people don't have a problem admitting that God did It
but won't add more to that phrase and give themselves some credit
yes, God can do everything of that there is no doubt
but He will use mankind to carry those deeds out
God had already spoken to Abraham
before anything had been done
His authority was already in place
before anything had begun
but in order to pass God's tests you might have to endure
some bleak and barren times
learn to survive on the least you can
and still be doing fine
God may require that you leave all you know behind
and allow Him to order your steps
and let Him use you in kind
there will be some lean days
you might have to live through a famine or a drought
to be a man that God can use
without question, without doubt
God does not seek perfection
that's not what he requires
God seeks obedience
like the Disciples of His Son He desires
let God use you in your life, let Him plot the course
be one who is available to Him, He's your spiritual source
God also looks for righteousness, a man based in faith
a believer of His word and promises,
the pass through Heaven's pearly gates
yet there are certain heights and elevations that God wants you to attain
certain sacrifices and concessions that may even cause you some pain
concede control to God even If It means giving up your life
remember the crucifixion of His Son, Jesus Christ
God only wants to see how far you are willing to go
the Holy Spirit will test and convict you to determine your faithful flow
yet God does allow many things to occur that are not of a Christian way
and He will use any type of man, as long as to Him they obey
the Lord only requires from you just another yes
let Him use you in your life, let your testimony progress
a man that God can use, a sacrificial son
a man that God can use, a most obedient one
a man that God can use, not of perfection
a man that God can use, of spiritual reflection
let this be your story, let this be your song
be a man that God can use, obedient and faithfully strong
April 27 Heart for God Bible Meditations Based on 2Kings 18-19
Key Verse – 2Kings 18:3 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that David his father did.
HEART THAT STRIVES TO FULFILL WHAT IS RIGHT IN THE SIGHT OF THE LORD
Our heart strives to fulfill what is right in the sight of the Lord…
… delighting in His law constantly
While meditating His counsel daily
So that we can bear fruits by faith and deeds prosperously
And not be driven along wind of ungodliness perilously.
Our heart strives to fulfill what is right in the sight of the Lord…
… accepting His righteousness-propelled venture
While standing upon His holiness posture
So that we can declare about His goodness’ gesture
And not be broken by derision’s vexing culture.
Our heart strives to fulfill what is right in the sight of the Lord…
… acknowledging His majesty with reverential fear
While rejoicing at His excellency along worshipful gear
So that we can labour in His vineyard midst joyous thankful tear
And not be troubled by worldliness’ allurements vainly drear.
Our heart strives to fulfill what is right in the sight of the Lord…
… regarding His instruction to trust in His person
While depending on His sovereignty’s best reason
So that we can learn about important life’s lesson
And not be dashed by doubt’s poison.
Our heart strives to fulfill what is right in the sight of the Lord…
… seeking His help and mercy
While crying for His forgiveness with His pardon’s clemency
So that we can enjoy His salvation’s assurance-constancy
And not be distressed by prayerlessness’ leniency.
Our heart strives to fulfill what is right in the sight of the Lord…
… prioritizing His presence
While communing with Him in His fellowship’s license
So that we can stand in awe, worshiping Him with sacrifices’ incense
And not be distracted by pride’s iridescence.
Our heart strives to fulfill what is right in the sight of the Lord…
… cleaving to His precepts of heavenly wisdom
While learning from His Scriptures with His truth’s freedom
So that we can serve Him along His grace and advance His kingdom
And not be overwhelmed by futility’s boredom.

An old soldier was laid to rest today with the doleful tones of "Taps."
Family and friends mourned, others respectfully doffed their caps,
To honor another World War Two patriot who saw the battle thro',
Suffering untold hardships to preserve freedom for me and you.
Only eighteen when he was drafted in nineteen forty-two,
He proudly donned his nation's uniform, vowing the foe to subdue.
Old photos displayed at his memorial showed a handsome lad,
Destined to fight in battles in a world that had gone mad.
For months he faithfully perfomed his duty in the European Theater,
Crediting his safe return to Mother's daily pleas to The Creator.
Coming home to a hero's welcome with medals upon his breast;
Lauded by many he modestly replied, "I merely did my best."
Sadly, he was largely forgotten by the powers that sent him to war.
Nonetheless, he reared a loving family - their hero they did adore.
Just an ordinary working man, loving his God, family and nation,
Passing on his unwavering values to each ensuing generation.
Alas, not many of these gallant warriors are still around.
Every day too many are laid to rest in hallowed ground.
To those still among us we should express our gratitude.
The sacrifices they made could have been of no greater magnitude!

What is it that we are intellectual
Of heart to which one lives reality
Or soul of a being to which gives life
We strive dreams and hopes we keep alive
Beaten down by physical aspect of life
We find ourselves with choice right or wrong
Path of a road endless bumps persist
Or do we create our own drama which we live
Peace you find in life is not of the pleasures
But sense of a emotion to which brings
Love's rage it's joy always a desire
How you perceive life your choice of attitude
Like problems going exist, part of life
How you handle it to rather it be a problem
Or just another obstacle to hurl weaken knees
The idea you plant be road to success
Do what you always did, same results you get
Courage to pursue the risk, fear of being wrong
Failure not an option but choice one chooses
As a caterpillar thought world was ending
It turned into a butterfly and flew
New creation of life in itself was found
It is sacrifices to which brings opportunity
That value that builds foundation to success
I have roles in from the depths of pain;
Relive my life knife games;
Random promises of broken flames;
I was bitter and embarrassed:
I should have prayed;
Mother was in pain one Saturday afternoon;
So prideful filled with hurt and void;
I chose to relief and relish in my pain;
Mad at God because He took later that night;
Deep deep in my heart;
I hurt what to believe in why, how I thought to myself;
I should have prayed
The sacrifices of this polluted world;
Spiraling down to be unfurled, frolicking, prolifically, wondering coasting down the stairs ;
Whom am i to fear;
Step by step magically disappears;
When all the heathens gather together and all the saints;
All the passion all the pains seldom Glitters Humanities in pain Humanities in pain and I wish;
That I could have changed all those sins;
I committed so humanistic footloose let loose and cursed;
I went right instead of left, left in reverse;
It didn't hurt;
Because I've learn to put Jesus first;
I should have prayed;
Sin nature full of fun;
Later pending on your outlook on life or death;
The wars here but endangered species only ones left;
The poor riots dying innocence;
Shootings, robberies, murders this is;
And the say, what should I do what can I do..
Well
Guess we should have prayed
Lest We Forget
I can hear him now , calling me , lost in the dark , in the deep seas of Normandy, I can hear him now , god why have you forsaken me are the cries on the waves from the seas of Normandy .
I hear the lighthouse bell ringing out , all our families their souls screaming in hell and the fires of friends shout burnt on the breeze and the blood stained sands map a path of the deceased ...
Lest We Forget
The sacrifices made by our boys so that you and I may have a voice “ Mum , Dad, and don’t forget our Molly , tell her ‘ We are in this together ‘ and I hope our love brings you peace joy and happiness forever and ever , tell our Molly “ when the red robin nests in the fruit tree all the tweets you hear are from the Boys of Normandy ..v
Yours sincerely

Summer winds down, autumn appears
Leaves upon ground from deciduous trees
Foliage now rustic ebbs slowly away
Animals gather food for winters stay.
Webs that glisten from wet morning dew
Misty white curtains blurs scenery view
Rituals and sacrifices in old days of past
Thanking God's harvest and future ones last.
Daylight grows shorter - long nights begin
Bonfire nights and apple bobbing
Parents and children carving pumpkins
Ghosts annual night visit at Halloween.
Horse chestnuts seeds - conkers kids play
Blackberries grow plenty, wild fruit of the day
Autumns rich colours, beauty fanfare
Natures painted canvas and artistic flair.

In the middle of the empty street,
fretfulness and despair prevails.
The search for cure to save lives…
In grocery stores and pharmacies…
Still it is nowhere to be found.
A furious disease!
Impeccable fear…
In a blink of an eye,
It might stand next to me.
As deadly as poison.
Coronavirus swoops from place to place…
When it gets into your system,
Your body slowly deteriorates.
When ignorance becomes contagious,
that’s when risks are getting high.
Self-quarantine is needed.
To avoid the stakes and threats…
Let’s protect our lives!
Homes are filled with angst.
Routines are widely interrupted.
There’s no point of blaming others…
For this will not end.
We obey what is must!
We obey to free ourselves…
We might commit social sacrifices.
But this is fleeting…
It will pass by.
Let our small prayers heal this plague.
Restore humanity in different race.
Our intents are directed to one goal.
Stop the virus that spreads all over the place.
We touch nobody’s hand.
We touch nothing but the hope that we have.
In the middle of the empty street,
We hope there is "LIFE" once again.
