A Man That God Can Use
most people don't have a problem admitting that God did It
but won't add more to that phrase and give themselves some credit
yes, God can do everything of that there is no doubt
but He will use mankind to carry those deeds out
God had already spoken to Abraham
before anything had been done
His authority was already in place
before anything had begun
but in order to pass God's tests you might have to endure
some bleak and barren times
learn to survive on the least you can
and still be doing fine
God may require that you leave all you know behind
and allow Him to order your steps
and let Him use you in kind
there will be some lean days
you might have to live through a famine or a drought
to be a man that God can use
without question, without doubt
God does not seek perfection
that's not what he requires
God seeks obedience
like the Disciples of His Son He desires
let God use you in your life, let Him plot the course
be one who is available to Him, He's your spiritual source
God also looks for righteousness, a man based in faith
a believer of His word and promises,
the pass through Heaven's pearly gates
yet there are certain heights and elevations that God wants you to attain
certain sacrifices and concessions that may even cause you some pain
concede control to God even If It means giving up your life
remember the crucifixion of His Son, Jesus Christ
God only wants to see how far you are willing to go
the Holy Spirit will test and convict you to determine your faithful flow
yet God does allow many things to occur that are not of a Christian way
and He will use any type of man, as long as to Him they obey
the Lord only requires from you just another yes
let Him use you in your life, let your testimony progress
a man that God can use, a sacrificial son
a man that God can use, a most obedient one
a man that God can use, not of perfection
a man that God can use, of spiritual reflection
let this be your story, let this be your song
be a man that God can use, obedient and faithfully strong
