Lithely moving
they cross the dance floor in swirls
their feet barely touching the ground
as they spin in perfect rythme around
smiles light their faces
as he dips her to the floor
and up again
into a waltz in breathtaking time
so skilled are they you think that they simply float
until their perfect moment comes all undone
by another couple who are having fun
as they cavort around the ballroom floor
it doesn't get any better than this
they think
as they see the other couple walk out the door-
fractured inklings of why this could be
haunts the couple that lost the contest
and they wondered why me?
They had practiced and practiced for this very dance
a dance that drew parallel lines to the couples romance
each step
each hand hold
practiced till they had fabulous timing
but now they were suddenly
adept at pining...
never mind
never mind
we will rise again
and this time we will make it the tango
aware of where we place our steps
perfect and precise
neat and free
holding our boundaries
from the others that be.
When does a man know he is genuine,
authentic as anger with iniquity, unimaginary as shadows in sun light
or blood in the wound,
alive like apples on the tongue,
when does a woman cease acting and begin living like an energy
driven relentlessly onto a target,
breathing from within to produce a rythme for personal purpose,
when do children become Machiavellian, stealing for lust, lying for laughs
and hiding for safety, when do they stop believing
that they are whatever can be desired,
there are creatures on this planet displaying instinct for mimicking a prey's sound
or using camoflage for ambush,
in doing so they depart not from a natural state,
what is necessary & unnecessary for healthy survival,
is there a mask for self trust,
is there a script for peer acceptence,
a mantra or prayer for self awareness,
is there such a thing as true & untrue,a good day and a bad day,
who is responsible for truth,
is it the witness or the conductor,
does experience decieve or present,
does the frost cheat the blossom,
do words mislead or is ignorance the folly,
do men disguise themselves subsequent to virtue or vice,
to survive or profit,
the portrait speaks no riddle,
falsehood finds no home outside the frame
nor inside the canvas,
impostering is a function of honesty
to charlatan & fool alike -

In whispers of lyric and rhythm, we find,
Resonate echoes, the heart intertwined.
To contemplate in shadows, where thoughts softly steer,
Soul steering moments, where dreams draw near.
Dance in the twilight, let melodies flow,
Listen intently, let the beat gently show.
Hear the instruments weave their stories untold,
A portrait vibrant, in colors of gold.
Connect the soul to something profound,
In good music, a base that lifts from the ground.
Uplift the spirit, let faith intertwine,
In echoes of hope, where love brightly shines.
In the festive air, we find peace and grace,
To grieve and rejoice, in this sacred space.
Praise and worship, with hearts open wide,
In adoring moments, let truth be our guide.
There was once an era, educative and wise,
Where music spoke volumes, beneath the vast skies.
A profoundly mesmerizing, informative sound,
Where each note and story in unity found.
But now, it seems, in the noise we reside,
Profane and lame, where meanings collide.
Laced with vulgarity, lost in the fray,
As massive boxes drown wisdom away.
Yet still, in the chaos, if we pause and reflect,
We can find in the noise, a chance to connect.
For even in fanatical beats that seem out of line,
There lies a thread of truth, waiting to shine.
So let us muse, let the music arise,
In every beat, a chance to be wise.
In stories of faith, hope, and love,
Let’s seek the meaningful, rise high above.
MUSIC
The rythme progresses through me
Reaching to depths unknown
Leading me to another realm
Only I have ever gone
A place of solitude
Where I can be free
For my soul is the melody
To which I shall dance alone
And the beat is my life walk
Opening the walls that have never been shown
Oh how I love to sing
Especially when I hear that old familiar
That takes me back to the day
That I could just proceed along
No cares, no worries, just me and the world
Being free...... to my song
How many memories are wrapped up within tones
That have touched our lives
How many people can we recall
With just one sharp# climb
Or with just one flat fall
The power of our melody is our own
No one can hum it
No one can take it
Because our life walk is our song
We can take this empowerment as high as we want
Or we can take it to the lows
No matter how we play it
It still grows
With each and every encounter
Down our blessed path
The music follows
With our every step
So embrace your sharps and flats
Knowing that it is helping you
Through this turbulent ride
Sing it loud and don't be ashamed
For your song knows you are doing your best
Don't let the bar line tell your ending
Keep the melody flowing
Continue your lines without cares
And when your curtain rides low
And the rythmes come to a sway
Just look at the pages before
To where you started from
And to how you have become so much more today
Keep the music alive....even with a hummm
You're the Chaos and yet you're the Calm
You're the Thorns and yet you're the Rose
You're the Fantasy and yet you're the Reality
You're the Control and yet you're the Liberty
You're the Puzzle and yet you're the Adventure
You're the Rhyme and also the Rythme
You're the History and yet you're the Full Story
You're the Past and yet you're the Future
You're the Fight and yet you're the Rest
You're the Sunshine and yet you're the Glow
You're the Tickle and yet you're the Laughter
You're the Magic and also the Vibe
You're the Captivity and You're the Liberty
You're the Temptation and yet you're the Satisfaction
You're the Charm and yet you're the Love
You're the Lioness and yet you're the lamb
You're the Rage and yet you're the Grace
You're the Rain and Also the Rainbow
You're the Secret and yet you're the Revelation
You're Strong and yet you're too soft
You're the pause and yet you're the Continuation
You're the Mystery!
When the boys are out here partying
And the girls are on the dance floor dancing
Tables are full of liquor but I am sipping on water.
It's 4am, am silent.
I must be high.
When I write lines that don't rythme.
When I can't finish a piece on time.
When I am down, not even on talk time.
I hate to admit it.
But it's been a while, I am still patient.
I must be high.
It's my birthday, they got me a cake.
A surprise party that I can't take.
But this is life, it's just another check.
I am concerned but I have got to consent.
I must be high.
Trouble looms, it's dark in my home.
So I live like everyday is my last.
On the streets, my age ain't safe.
They shoot to kill, I am a suspect all day.
I hate to admit it.
I ain't free in my homeland.
I must be high.
I don't drink.
I don't smoke.
I flirt
I lie.
I am consistent.
I am a trouble causer.
I must be high.
I must be high.
I must be high.
I am high on life.
Nature will enlighten you on a range of topics. Never ignore that the earth and the wind both appreciate your naked feet and your hair. By Poet
Wake up, the winter wound melted away,
Once more, the blooms are enthusiastic.
The advent of spring heralds a bold stay,
Shout birds are making a thrilled somatic.
From the landscape raw pristine is sprouting,
Everything in riverscape should be green.
What a bright reason to receive a leave,
As a tribute to this stunning viewing.
Crisp nights and long days need shift of routine,
Snatch a deep breath of pure air, then reweave.
Confess again your grace and optimism,
The whole universe is filled with wonder.
Rise, disdain your worries and pessimism,
Clear your thoughts and foster a blithe stunner.
Simply focus on splendor and fairness,
Nature's symphony may also be heard.
Brighten your day, the warmth of the sunlight,
With pale clouds moving through azure grandness.
They rustle as leaves in the trees, green horde,
Birds hum their tunes and glide through the air sight.
The downpour has stopped, leaving the air clean,
While I lay on lawn, my breath is shallow.
Close and reveal my eyes, just to be seen,
Sense of being in a marooned hallow.
But the honey bees humming, brings heart's cheer,
As I release my soul, my sense grows free.
The scent of ebbing steps is a faint smell,
A lush, fresh breeze from a blooming tree, near.
Who could touch the wind sans felt its warm spree?
As you groove, you'll be lured in by its swell.
