Ruth’s Choice
Crossroads on a maize and dusty colored road –
Sorrowing eyes look past
Golden days into eyes of tears –
Grieving –
Words swallowed go unspoken
Choices for daughters,
Not born of the same womb,
From a daughter brought here by hunger -
Called now to return
By a well-worn path
To hills of olive trees -
Remain or leave to travel
Where barley fields
Flow with kinsmen’s voices
As the season lifts your hair of cooper fire;
A blessing on the road releases
Silken bonds and wedding vows –
Yet a pledge of faithfulness
Rejoins two hearts to walk together
While one heart, divided by tears, remains
Carrying pictures of these faces
Painted forever in this monument of memory
Pondering the unknown road
Disappearing into a shimmering morning;
This road remembers empty barns –
The way back to the hillsides –
Back to the beginning
Reunited
With faces wearing delight and compassion
To encircle sojourners
Carrying sheaves of retrospection
To plant among the seeds
Of harvest that never left
This soil;
Gather now and glean –
In humble steps behind the harvesters
Then sleep upon the threshing floor
Where love reignites sowing
Seeds in a field left fallow
So an honored name not disappear
As wind blows through the grain
And sings of sons
To change the world.
A tease on the wings of summer's breeze
A tickle in the touch of whispering winds
A glimpse at the art of museum paintings
A stare in the eyes of flowering spring--
A poem is a song of my innermost feelings.
When I'm lost in confines of my thoughts
Solace I seek from brilliant cosmic stars
Prodding for answers to question marks
Uncovering truth in words of a paradox,
As the beat of poetry reignites my heart.
Verses I compose in fragrance of Jasmines
Linger merrily around blossoms of roses
Listening to voices of fluttering tree leaves
Soliciting rhymes from elate vocabulary,
Evoking the cadence of rhythmic melodies.
A giggle in a stream, a smile in my morning
A romantic kiss in the splendor of evening
An aesthetic dream in my night's revelry
A lonesome tear of my un-consoled grief--
My poetry's the answer to call of my musings.

Remember how I use to make you smile?
I can't and my memory never fails.
Perhaps I haven't gone the extra mile,
or could it just be our love has grown stale.
What should we do to relight the fire,
that has woefully dwindled in our night?
Have I painted a picture much too dire,
or is there a chance this flame reignites?
Is there work that is needed on my part,
to repair the damage that I have done?
Maybe there is a simple fix for our hearts,
that can restart this love and make it run.
Perhaps the answer to this problem lies,
in the beautiful art of compromise.

The Krama path of step by step progression
Also goes by the name of kundalini ascension
The path if there is any path being emptiness
As we slowly erase ferality from consciousness
Desires & fears & attachments & ego craving
All that is transient and as illusions oscillating
Thus making space within for magnetic synergy
Drawing in osmotically divine life pulse energy
Stilling not stillness we let stillness still our being
Transmuting consciousness to bliss enlivening
Now the manner of the energy path may be any
It could be sudden & turbid or gentle & sedentary
What matters most is we rest all vicarious knowing
For what unfolds in reality is amazingly scintillating
In any case thoughts are imaginary & delusional
In silence & stillness we cognise the divine miracle
Our orientation shifts to innocence simply flowing
There being no finality to each enablement glowing
As on date this traveller does affirm with certainty
That explosive ecstatic bliss reignites in continuity
Within

The Lord is my Master Coach (to show me, teach me and guide me)
My Teacher, I shall not waiver.
He leads me to teach multiple minds,
He grants understanding and wisdom in full classes.
He reawakens and reignites passion in me.
He leads to paths of wisdom, knowledge and understanding.
To help me, awaken those who want to learn more.
Even though long days of teaching load me down with exhaustion
I will not be troubled, for He sustains me.
His Word brings life to my own words, as I coach those who seek council.
He prepares opportunities even in rough times
Tough conversations with business partners He leads.
He has provided for me with skills and wisdom
I am a good coach.
Surely, I am a teacher, as He was so shall I be
My Master Coach, will never leave me
Under his guidance, shall I forever be.

When smoke consumes clear horizons,
manipulating corridors of the mind,
beckoning imminent afflictions
poetry is the remedy.
A poet's first eternal love,
forming an authentic bond.
A tonic of silent expressions
creating a potion of poetic confessions.
When the soul
reignites the muse,
stars become brighter,
the sun mightier and majestic,
the moon mysteriously tranquil
so we weave words of wisdom.
When emotive ink becomes the essence,
that flows deeper than rivers of blood,
piercing through ruptured veins
we express words the tongue cannot utter.
Poetry never broke my heart,
my poems are forever faithful.
When passages of life become obscure
unwind the mind, for poetry is the cure.

The story of dory
And the story of John
Could be glory
Could be wrong
Dory was a Gent at heart
Dorian was the birth mark
John preferred the Dory part
As was his name from start
A younger brother with might
John enjoyed a good fight
Dory had no choice in life
As his brothers fire reignites
Sat in constant silence
In denial of the violence
Seeking the vengeance
Of a brothers pretence
To the viewer looking in
There was no sin
No bullying of the sibling
Feelings was kept within
But poor old Dory
Was more than a story
A tale as gory
To make the devils glory
A knifes sharp look
Sharper than a serpants tooth
No more playing by the book
Dory looks to end the snook
Waiting for the right time
To end his eternal prime
Lifting up his knife
Here's to you and life
Claret filled the room
With no time to gloom
The blade spun with a zoom
As Dory fell to his doom
A story of brothers grim
A story of feelings within
A story of lifes sin
A story we need to bring
So the masses will see
People hide their grief
From judging thieves
Who steals from realities
Inspired by the songs and lyrics of Bob Marley
Like three little birds people stop to listen.
To hear songs sang of redemption.
Pitched by their door steps reminiscing,
Of a time when no woman would cry
And like a natural mystic their
Tears would fly,to a place where
The colour of a mans skin
Or the religion he believes in
Holds no more significance
Then the colour of his eyes
A place where everyone
Could be loved then be loved.
But we live in a world where politicians.
Stir up hatred by fuelling religious tensions,
Crushing the satisfied souls of generations,
by dropping bombs to silence, songs sang of freedom.
Which reignites, WAR, on already WAR torn nations.
yeah dis a WAR,
With every new day brings more WAR
Yeah everywhere is WAR,
Yeah me say WAR.
My heart felt old; I sought the cold.
Canada’s land was what I planned.
Among trees grand and far inland
To dance my sad brand of sarabande.
Yet precious moments come when joy flowers,
Far briefer than Four-O’clocks,
As resurrected visions composed of spectral smoke,
Reignite our love in brief rapture; abruptly fading.
Far from the shores I now abhor
Where eyes of blue were wrenched from view;
A grisly depart for my sweet heart -
A rag doll tossed and dragged into the deep.
Winter trees in chiaroscuro
Cuffed by icicles grip and snow.
Dark, defrocked beeches beseeching;
Limbs pleading for the sap of Spring.
Staring into those leafless woods
As cotton obscurity falls;
And gloaming passes into night,
Something I see sheds its dark veil.
Life bursts anew; I plainly view
Your windswept raven hair framing
Jeweled eyes and lips set in tan
An amaranthine vision of
Our ancient love, so evergreen
Waiting sweetly in the deep snow.
So near, so there, but not now here
A snapping branch broke quietude.
Daring damsel of Tavira,
My heart still glows at thoughts of thee
Cuddled close on Algarve beach
White wave swash foam tickling our toes.
Our brash love was a high wire act
Done without any safety net.
Diving the sky, diving the deep;
Scaling the peaks; dancing in Rio.
Passion flowed allegro con brio;
Alloying us ‘neath moon and sun.
Until you vanished in the swirling sea
West of the sandy swath of Algarve.
Stolen, seized by a great white shark
As your surfboard raced past mine.
Absent your smile my life seems spent
As if impaled on Triton’s trident.
Yet precious moments come when joy flowers,
Far briefer than Four-O’clocks,
As resurrected visions composed of spectral smoke,
Reignites our love in brief rapture, abruptly fading.

Sat upon the mountain, high above the world below,
The stars in the sky twinkled with a burning glow.
Heart ached with loneliness in the silence of the night,
In darkness deep and void of light, sought the spark that reignites the fight.
The ocean, the shore, feels the waves crash against his feet,
His heart begins to race, a feeling hard to beat.
The moon, like a lantern, guides through the dark depths of his soul.
Soaring above the clouds, and reaching for the stars with the wings unfold.
The wind ceases its whispering, allowing to hear the echoes of the past,
Recognizes the melody of life, intertwined with the harmony of love that lasts.
With renewed purpose and clarity gained, he left the ocean behind,
Continues his journey along with the life that he signed.
Felt the rhythmic swaying of the ship and the sound of waves crashing,
Yearns to once again feel the wind in his hair and the salt on his lips.
Inhaled a deep breath of salty air, savouring the moment before exhaling,
With all the hate he bears and the love that is undying.
